A meeting between two giants in the world of language and linguistics, accompanied by a brilliant Moroccan with a Moroccan tongue from which English words flow, and a wide knowledge of the world of linguistics. Thanks from Algeria
No worries. Chimpsky will live, eternally, through his recorded lectures and through his many articles, and through his books. I am a lover of both Chimpsky and Chomsky. I have studied both primates. Chomsky is smarter than Chimpsky. But, Chimpsky is far smarter than Chomsky at the game of Tic-Tac-Toe. The reflexes and eye coordination of the chimp are far superior to any guy, like Chomsky, from Philly.
I've watched hours of Krashen's many wonderful lectures and discussions on UA-cam. This is perhaps his most concise and eloquent one. Absolutely delightful. Here's my theory: it must be a wonderful feeling to have such a giving hero to show off for. Thanks Dr. Krashen, your passion alone is inspiration!
Prof. Krashen's introduction to linguistics and way of tempting people to read are significant and, an important introduction to the importance of reading in itself.
I have never seen a less engaged and a more unprofessional moderator. 0 consecutive questions asked, 0 understanding of what’s going on, just “eeeh uuummh we have sooo many questions 😅”. A pity that such masters of the language science are accompanied by someone who has no connection to their passion. Thank you professors, the insights you shared are invaluable
Prof. Noam chomsky. I familiar with your writing when I was in college and I toke language but it is the first time I know your picture... thanks for your sharing sir...
It’s been really quite fun to have conversations with chat GPT, and to use it to tell me stories about any subject that I want in any language that I want, and at any reading level. It’s entertaining and fantastically helpful! And free!
Many thanks to the organizer of this interesting meeting and my thanks also go to our esteemed guests for devoting their time and efforts to enlighten our brains much appreciated.
I'm very happy to see this historical meeting online again. Thank you Dr. Nabil Belmekki. I hope the certificates are on their way. Thanks again. Mr. Reda BOUKLI HACENE Assistant Professor in Linguistics

Is language in continuous development with other forms of communicaiton is an interesteing question. I think evidence supports continuity due to the possible motor system involvement in speech. There is sign language and also motor involvement (gestures and hand movements in speech). So more researcch in this area could be helpful, could be helpful with regards to understanding sign language development.
