I have a new Shark IQ Robot and it has recently reported error code 2, which means obstruction underneath. I cannot find any obstruction, but I found a Utube video that stated it may have something to do with cleaning the side brushes or taking the screw out and cleaning underneath.
When removing the side brushes on my shark vacuum, I actually removed the small screw. I did not realize they would snap on and off at the time. Well, there’s a small metal clip that holds the brush on. I need to find that clip since I lost one, not knowing it was there when I removed the screw. Any help?
Unfortunately you’ll need to purchase the whole assembly, UNLESS, u can rig a piece of metal to make the same shape. I used a similar size picture frame wall hangar…the kind with the nail through it. I used a vise and bent to the same shape and I may have drilled a small hole through it….it works and kept me from ordering a new assembly
Travi Error 6: Device Stuck or Trapped Device may be suspended in air. Move it to a new position close to the original position and try again. If the device is still unable to start, clean the edge sensor and try again. Please help sir
thank you, Smitty, do you know if there is someone that works on the bot. i changed all the attachments and it still goes a few inches and stops with a red light flashing.
Dude your lucky then! My first one had gone over some wet puppy shit and sucked it all through it and cleaned it out and it wouldn't even work, thought we'll maybe it got moisture, waited like 4 months and still turns on and all that but once you press start. It either says bin isn't there or obstruction or some error code that isn't real. You'd think for a $300 vacuum it would notice to not pick up something of the sort but their actually quite stupid
Shark vacuums are junk. Mine broke in 3 months and they refuse to help me because I unscrewed a single screw that held on a side brush. They said that voided the warranty.
Wow! 😮 Thank you
I changed both spinning brushes in less than a minute! I'm glad I decided to look on UA-cam.
Thanks for your help 🫂
I'm missing the metal clip that holds the brush on the post. Any suggestions?
Awesome. Thank you. We were looking for a tool to unscrew the side brush. This is so easy.
thanks for the help, any advice on why brushes keep on falling off they are the same kind as originals.
I probably would have broken my Shark if I didnt see this video trying to unscrew / pry the inside rather than simply wiggling them off. Thank you!
I was trying to unscrew glad I clicked on the video!!!
Yeah, but my brush broke off. All I have left is the round part.
How do I get that off?
Thanks so much...just got my robot and was not paying attention that the side brush application was color coded.
Thanks!

I can't locate my side brushes where are the located I have looked on the underside I can't find where they are stored?
I have a Shark IQ Robot that's self cleaning. My side brushes don't want to 'pop" out. How much effort is required?

That is what I am looking for ! Did you ever find it ?
@@philabroms Did you ever find out how to replace the metal clip that holds the brush on? Do we need an entire side brush assembly replacement?
I’m still working on it. Found an old brush with the metal clip still attached
