So, we got the 4x6 version of this last year, for some garden tools and a few totes full of holiday decorations. Down in Florida, the morning after Ian the thought of this shed being tossed around my back yard did cross my mind. Color me surprised when I came home from the shelter to discover the little guy was standing right where I left it, with a small dent from some branches. Imma chalk that up to a miracle, but I was amazed.
These sheds really do have a place, if you go in understanding the limitations they are great bang for the buck. They are very flimsy so it is critical that you assemble square and plumb and then they are half assed rigid. Am in Canada in the cold they "sweat" I spray foamed the inside roof and proplem solved, summer hot as hell, installed a little cheap solar vent works great. Keep flamables in it, snowblower, gentset, heater, fuel. It was a very fast fix to a storage problem.
@@darlanamayhle6844 Closed cell insulation and you can use black colored automotive seam sealer to fill in the holes from the gaps on the roof from the factory.
Guys for the holes/gaps left from the factory for the screws on the roof you can use black automotive seam sealer and it will never leak for at least 15 years until the seam sealer wears out (goes brittle or cracks). I'd also recommend using closed cell insulation to be sprayed inside (at least 2 inches thick) to keep the temps down inside the shed.
My mother in law gifted me the half size version of this very same shed. 2 years going strong. I was please to find no water damage to anything that I stored over the winter. If you take your time and build it correctly, it's not a bad shed. I would recommend this to anyone
I have 2 Arrow sheds out back..this is nice though TJ...☝️ The Zip System stretch tape is awesome 5:15.. just use a rivet if you strip a hole or a 3mm nutsert and screw👍
I could actually see where this might be a decent starting point for the price. It seems to me that with just a few extra items, expanding foam, caulk, and maybe a few extra wood or metal wall studs for bracing, you could have yourself a decent little storage shed for not a lot of dough. Are you aware of any competitors that have notably better quality with a similar price or a price increase on par with the quality increase?
i bet its a little off in the measurments because they ;prolly use that "metric" system, which has no known exact conversion to SAE Amurka measurments with teenths, eights quarters and thirds of an inch
@shoptoolreviews how is your unit holding up? I installed mine on Sunday and when I got home from work today, the "ridge vent" was crunched over to one side and it was raining inside my shed that I just moved everything into yesterday. Not even 36 hours and it's compromised. I'm curious if yours is still functional.
You bring up a great point. It's held up rather well, especially with our Florida thunderstorms. HOWEVER, we did get a thunderstorm with high winds, just a month ago, and I too noticed the ridge vent blowing up on one side. After the storm, I went out and drilled all the way through with a 1/4" bit, then used some 1/4" screws, washers and nuts to hold the ridge vent down. Since then, we've had no issues. Thanks for reaching out.
I was looking at these I think you got this on temu or something I was thinking okay so I knew it was going to be flimsy I knew it was going to be Sharp I was thinking and then they were saying that it was waterproof and I'm thinking yeah right I wanted to find one that was insulated well I have insulation I can do it myself what about putting wood inside and kind of building it in inward you know like to make it sturdier to make it tougher so that it's not so flimsy somebody could just take it exacto knife and slice their way inside of it
This was only $80 on temu today today is for sale today for $80 because of memorial Day but it was definitely not a much would you say it was 600 or something normally it's not $80 normally it's I think something like 200

What kind of foam did you use? Are you talking about the gap between the roof and the wall?

Do you know what size screws/anchors I’ll need to mount this shed to a slab?
Did water get in? Did it rust?
Question just purchased this shed. Would like to build that same platform what are the materials used. Thank you
How did it hold up?
Is reaching out the same as reach around because that what it feels like i am getting
Hey I have a question, what’s the size of the deck? I wanna do the same thing for the deck I’m about to purchase one.
I'm just installing an 8x6 in my backyard, but the question is, do I need a building permit for that? I live in California!
No. Only if its bigger than 10x12. You can even build a mancave without a permit technically.
@@shawnkay5462so true I just built one
Can the door be shifted to the end walls?
What did you do with the film layer on the whole thing ?😅
Any tips on stripping the film quickly off?
Very honest review !! Thanks a lot not what I need
She'll carelessly cut you and laugh while you're bleeding, but she's always a shed to me.
And the most she will do is throw shadows at you.😂. Great song and thanks for the watch and comment.
Thanks for making this!

I only got one cut and that was from my knife. No glove
We are looking for a garden shed this fall! Anything bigger?
I think they have a 12x5 and 10x10

Good stuff. I kinda wish I didn't have a covenant with the golf course. No out buildings allowed.
I picked up the 14x12 off temu of all places for 450, got here in 3 days. Height is still the same though.

They got these on TikTok for $70 delivered. I’m probably going to pass, thank you.
I have a 8x10 Arrow shed (basically same shed) and you just gave me a great idea to make it mobile. 😂
Got the 10× 14 on sale. I can't even get the corner started. Just gonna junk it. Waste of my time. 😡😡
This video is crap doesn't show anything just like the instructions. Lol
That looks like a breeding ground for wasps and all sorts of stingy things I as a grown man do not mess with
Looks like junk. I wouldn't put anything valuable in it.
