While self cebtered to a 4th wall breaking degree, Kusko is not malichious or evil by nature, but by perspective. He never saw anything from other's position, cause he didnt have to, nor was raised to. Once his perspective is challanged enough time though, kusko adapts. He goes and sais sorry. He considers the concequences of his actions. he finds joy in more simple pleasures. And most of all, he sacrifices his future to save someone's life. A malichious or evil person would never do any of those. Maybe if it would further their goals.... But otherwise, no.

Kuzo was such a well written character. One of the few main characters that actually had an arc their story.
Disney needs to find writers that understand that.

He really did! He’s a bit like Ebenezer Scrooge; both start out as selfish and not caring for others, but they develop and learn to be better and kinder persons over the course of the story.
Kuzko could easily been the villain of this movie if he hadn’t been turned into a Llama
