I came here browsing for information. My mama rabbit just gave birth this morning. I don't know if she's feeding them. I'm just a bit concern about her stepping on her babies because I see scratches on their back. What should I do? And she only produce few furr for her babies, I just put a cloth over their nest.
I had a suprise liter of one (not for meat) and she had a baby on the wire. She pulled hair when the baby was on the wire but now that the baby is in the nest box she wont pull more fur to keep the baby warm.
They typically only pull fur when the babies are born and only one time. As long as you have a nest box full of straw for them to snuggle into they should be fine. you might be able to pull some fur from the mother's dewlap. It should pull out pretty easily. You can also use cotton batting.
My doe is at day 30 and im worried as hell that shes gonna kindle on the cage floor how often should i check? Ive been going out every 2 or so hours today luckily i was off work im worried she will get nervous with me checking so much. However dont want them to die before i get out there tips appreciated (shes a first timer)
I just happened to put s flake of hay in her pen she was in with the male and it was cold and she made a nest and low and behold there was babies in there it’s really unexpected
One of our does just had 9 last night or this morning one was separated and was passed when we found her box. Brought them inside as it’s very cold in Colorado teens and twenty weather this weekend.
HELP CHRIS! My doe (first litter) only had one baby, lots of blood in hay and she's not acting right 3 days later. I feel like she still has others inside her. What should I do?
What if it’s summer? I’m up in Southwest Canada and yes we get summer up here! The mama is moving as if she’s just run a marathon! I wonder if she’s too hot. She put her babies and fur under a dome and it’s been over 48 hours since birth. Her cage is under a sun roof on a south-facing patio. The babies are skinny. I’m wondering if she should be in a cooler place.
I had a litter 10.days ago and was actually present when she delivered. I have been checking them every day for 10 days straight. Thanks again for the video you made because I know what to look for when it happened. Greetings and thank you for answering all my questions
In anyone's experience - Is it likely that a doe that gives birth to two her first time will always have small litters? Or is it likely that she could have bigger litters in the future?
My rabbit had 2 babies for her first litter. Most of the time the first litter with me small. Yes it is likely that that she could have bigger litter later on. My rabbit (same one) had 6 her second litter.
With a doe that has a small litter she will likely give offspring for longer a doe that gives lots of babies will give babies for a smaller time of her life.
I'm getting rabbits this weekend or so, and one of them is supposed to give birth on the 28th, she's a new Zealand, I am also getting a new Zealand and Holland mix. The mother is a great breeder.
Great video as always Chris and perfect timing for my situation. I have a 10 month first time doe who gave me a really hard time in matting. She did not want to mate with my buck and it took three to four attempts before it finally took. Well, this morning I went to check on her and I found a kit on the wire and 6 in the nest box. 4 survived and I noticed that she did no pull too much fur. I pulled the mess out of the box and put new nest material hay and shredded paper which I'm hopping will help them survive. I'm afraid because a cold front just rolled in, although, I'm in central Fl it is looking like it will get cooler tonight. Thank again and keep up the good work
Day 4 Chris and all is well. Mom took out some extra fur and she made a nice nest for the babies. They're all well and growing fast she is turning out to be a good mom.
Are you still active on here? I am raising Flemish giant rabbits. I was wondering how early I could check on them after birth and I ran across this video... By the way thank you very helpful however I have a question after observation there was about 15 babies in the best box however there were a few in a corner and a few in the middle I may have put some from corner to the middle is that ok or did I mess up slightly relocating them? They are all still in nesting box.
Sorry for the slow response. You can handle them right away with no concerns. So there is no issue with moving them all together. Be aware that 15 is a very big litter and, unfortunately it isn't that unusual to lose a few. Don't be too upset if that happens. Good luck with them.
I did check on the next day put the babies back without touching them but couldn’t see the all 3 babies after that as she ate all of them I feel guilty may be she got panic 😢
Our bunny had a litter of 11 last night. How often should I be checking to make sure that they are getting enough milk? If there are a few looking like they have empty bellies should I be supplementing them with goats milk right away? Thanks so much! Your videos have been so helpful
My bunny is in a small barn so basically ahe has LOTS of straw in there to keep her warm there is a heat light and all that so if the babies happend to not go in the box i would just move them they will be some what warm if that happens!
I would be very careful with a heat lamp. They can be very dangerous, especially around straw that can easily catch fire. Overall, sound like you have a nice set up though.
Chris, I had 2 does kindle on 1/1. One had 7 the other had 6. We had a freak freeze the evening of the 1st. Both new mothers, they were as surprised as me. Despite my best efforts, the kits all got too cold and passed. When is it safe to rebread the does?
It is really best to leave the babies with the mother and allow her to feed them. If you have to feed them yourself, you should do it twice a day though.
I have 2 pairs and both have separate separate cage. Do I have to keep mother separate from her partner when she got pregnant ? And keep them together till she gave birth ? Someone told me male rabbit will kill babies
It is really best to keep the male separate from the female except for at breeding time. And you should definitely separate them when the mother rabbit is about to give birth. I don't think there is much risk of him killing the babies but the female can get very territorial and injure the male or they can breed again and she can get pregnant a few days after giving birth which is not good.
I just had a surprise litter of 3, one of them has what looks like swollen feet and tail. cant find any info about that.. and im not sure if the others are healthy or not either. I know nothing about taking care of kits
I don't think I have ever seen what you describe in newborn rabbits. As far as taking care of them, the mother should pretty much do that so there isn't much you need to do. As long as you have a nestbox they will probably be fine.
Hello we have 2 Polish Dwarf rabbits and one of them had babies 3 days ago and I was wondering if I should be worrying about the kits or should I not worry about the kits that she will take care of them and feed them? We picked up one of the baby kits because it was a little cold and it was outside the nest we put the kit back in were we suppose to touch them or were we suppose to leave them be? Sounds like you did exactly what you should do. Handling the babies won't cause any problems with the mother rabbit. If they are still alive after 3 days, it sounds like she is feeding them (even if you don't see it happen). As long as you can keep them in the nest box (or put them back in when they get out) there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
@@Slightlyrednecked ok I'm glad to hear this one of the babies were smaller then the other two and that baby died sometime this morning I think that baby was the runt of the litter and my husband thinks the baby was probably placed there by the mother? The other two were left in the nest the smaller baby was out of the the nest
My bunny that I thought was fixed apparently had babies! 7 babes all alive! Surprised me! They are all healthy looking and beautiful! Mine are pets so this is new territory for me!
Hi uhm so this is the second time my bunny gave birth, the first time she had 9 and all grown perfectly but this time she gave birth to most likely more than 10 but i’m not sure. she gave birth 2 days ago, can i pick up the baby bunnies to check on them?
That's normal. You will not see the mother near the babies very often. She will nurse them 4 or so times a day. As long as the babies look healthy when you check on them, the mother is doing her job. Congrats on the kits! Mine just had 6 yesterday :)
My rabbit just give birth to three little bunnies. The problem is i dont know if the mommy rabbit is feeding them properly. Their tummies are small. What should i do?
I am sorry for the slow response. You probably already have it figured out by now but I would just keep a close eye on them for the first day or so. If they do seem to remain kind of shriveled up then you may need to get a supplement to help them out. It is rare that a mother rabbit won't feed her young but it does happen from time to time. You can supplement with a kitten milk or goat milk replacement that you can find at most farm supply stores. I hope that they are all doing well now.
Hey Chris. I hope you and yours are in fine fettle. My rabbit has a litter of 9 just under six weeks old, and I've just noticed her making a nest; pulling fur etc... (My buck, though separate, is an escape artist). What happens to the existing kits if my rabbit gives birth? I took 5 away just now, and I'll watch her overnight. I'm a little bit scared of taking them all away as I'm aware that if I'm wrong about the pregnancy and it's phantom, the lactic shock of an abundance of mothers milk stuck in her body could make her ill. If she is pregnant, I would take it for granted that her body will have made all the necessary adjustments. If I find a litter in the morning, should I move the other four out, or can they co-exist? All the kits are healthy, and eating pellets, hay, and dandelions. Cheers. Take it easy'!
That is really strange Chris that she only had two rabbits. Do you think she had more and ate all but the two? I know a lot of people won't touch their newborn bunnies saying that the mother would smell the human contact and eat the babies. I never had any problems when I raised rabbits the mother eating the babies. I didn't bother the babies for a few days after they were born I just let nature take care. But each to their own is what I say. I'm glad that you're comfortable and doing what you're doing and it has worked for you.
no, she didn't eat any of them. She just doesn't have great breeding genetics. I have never had a problem handling newborn rabbits even doing so from the moment they are born.
sven Murzelo. You're all right Chris does know what he's doing handling and raising rabbits I have no question there. I raised rabbits for years and if I had a question Chris if the guy I would go to.
I remember you mentioning another rabbit failing to get pregnant and it possibly being the buck. Just wondering was a different buck used for this litter?
Same my rabbit just had birth out of no where like 1 hour ago and im panicking its my first pet and my rabbits are 4 months old and my female has just given birth 😖😖😖
Hello long shot my rabbit has surprised me with babys what do i do im new to this i dont know how many she has had and i see one not in the nest but was moving please can some one advice me please Date 17/03/21
If you haven't already, you should put a nest box in there and move all of the babies to the nest box. fill it with some straw and cover them with the fur that the mother pulled. There isn't really a lot you have to do, the mother should take care of them just fine. But they do need to be in a good nest to make sure that they stay warm.
my doe doesnt ewant to breed with my buck. i tried it several times for a couple of days but still doesnt want to breed with my buck. Can you help me with it? My doe is about 8 months old as well as my buck.
That is a common problem. I usually just keep trying and after 4 or 5 days she is usually in the mood. You can also try putting the doe in a pet carrier and driving her around the block and then try breeding. I have no idea why that would work but others have reported great success with that method.
My rex doe had 6 her first time, then her 2nd time I only got 1 fall off and she didn't want anything to do with the buck, and boom on Halloween She had 1 baby 4 days late lol.
My female had 8 kits but they were all dead this is her second litter the male killed her first litter of 3 and mated with her right away. Is this why the babies were all dead
I am sorry that you are having that issue. If you aren't doing so already, you should separate the male and the female. it very well could be that she just got pregnant too soon after giving birth. Or there could be many things that caused it. I would give her another chance but wait about two weeks before breeding her again and keep the male and female is separate cages.
I'm late but sometimes their late with fur pulling if she is bleeding 1 it could be a miscarriage 2 she might me late hopefully their already born !!! And if they are how many did she have?Lol
Awesome. Congrats on your new rabbits. You shouldn't have to add anything special to the mother's diet. Just the same rabbit pellets you always feed. The only thing I do different is to make sure I keep the feeder full at all times after the babies are born. I hope that helps.
That is a common issue, especially with first time moms. The best thing to do is to gather them up as soon as you can and put them in the nest box for her.
sure. Nothing wrong with that. I tend to check on them when i feed every day. I don't usually open the cage just look in and make sure I still see movement.
When I had rabbits and bred multiple rabbits at once I liked having one that had small litters so I had a place to foster babies so there would be an equal number of nipples and mouths come feeding time. I found I had better growth when the number of mouths were equal to the number of nipples.
but that point only applies if you have rabbits that have extraordinarily large litters that are bred at the same time as a small litter mommas... everyone situation is different and you look like you need to replace that momma rabbit.
I've been breeding rabbits for 15 years I keep 2 does sometimes 3 and I only breed each doe once a year... if it's a new mom ill.breed her once in early spring like Feb then again in Sept, then its 1nce a year from.there on... also I built hutches theat are wire bottom with a closed in nesting area with an acces door in the back... works MUCHHHH better than nesting boxes.
I am sorry for the slow response. I am sure you have figured it out by now. But if it happens again, try to get the babies warmed up as fast as you can.
Let dogs in last night and noticed a rabbit on other side of fence. This morning when dogs went out, I noticed them hanging around clothes post in back yard. Went out and looked, saw 6 baby rabbits around the the nest. All appeared dead, not sure how long they were there. Is it possible the could be alive ? there was no blood, no apparent damage from dogs.
It is possible but if they weren't moving at all they probably didn't make it. Unfortunately, wild rabbits have a very high mortality rate. That is why they "breed like rabbits" though.
That is normal. You will very seldom if ever see her feed her babies. As long as they are not overly skinny and active they are being fed. Don't worry.
My rabbit just gave birth for the first time to 4 healthy youngs, after a few hours i cambe back to check but one of them is missing. I suspected either th mommy ate it of a rat did. Is it ok to remove the babies on the cage and just put them back there when feeding time?
I am sorry to hear that. It is fine to do that. You probably don't need to worry too much about it but if you want to bring them in you can. Just take the nest box out twice a day (early morning and late evening) to give the mother a chance to feed them. Good luck and I hope you don't lose any more.
Hey Chris, need some more help here, I hope you can help me. One of may bunnies seems not doing well. So as you said I'm putting them to the mothers cage twice a day to be fed. The mommy is doing good on feeding them however as part of the process I'm the one who's stimulating their urination. The other 2 babies where doing good, but one of then hasn't peed. His active but I'm afraid he wont make this since his belly looks bloated. I don't know what to do any more. This morning he peed just 3 drops not the same as the others.
Found your video because I'm trying to care for some newborn bunnies. I thought how wonderful is this guy, helping a mom with her babies, then I heard "meat rabbit". Turns out you're actually a monster!! Sick!
I had the same experience lol. I found a woman's channel and when she said meat rabbit I was shocked. I get people eat meat (me included just not cute little animals or bambi) but good Lord I could never eat the babies I watched grow up 😢 Unfortunately there seems to be more videos from these people than regular people with *pets* but I need the education so I'm just trying to block out the fact that they're gonna kill them 😭 Other than that this guy is good at being educational and to the point 🤷♀️...
Good thinking. This is a new buck that I have successfully bred to my other doe. Also the last time this rabbit had babies (different buck) she only had two. Really points to it being the doe.
Do not keep rabbits in such tiny and wire bottom cages! Imagine you having to live in a small box and step barefoot on a wire! I know youre growing them for meat and profit but come on! Quality of life is really important. Im not expecting you to go vegan or change what you do for livehood but please, have some respect for those beautiful little creatures!
@@littledrabbitry9410 why would you assume i dont raise rabbits or let alone not know how to?FYI i DO raise rabbits in a HUMANE manner. mine get a free roam of an entire ROOM dedicated to them with suitable chewy toys , branches and plenty of fresh hay on daily. not squeezed in wire bottom cages and padded with hazards they could chew and injest. as you should know when rabbits are stressed or neglected(which these are) they will CHEW on anything available. Ive rescued rabbits from streets and bad homes and tamed them to the point theyre cuddly and not afraid of anything. so take your assumptions elsewhere because what i SEE in this video is wrong and im not assuming jack sh!t. Btw assuming makes you an ass.
@Jesse Porter i think youre having an absolute giggle if you think you can justify neglecting animals due to life and work. youre the only one doing the assuming here. youve assumed i dont have a life or work and that's why i can take care of my animals. i MAKE TIME for my animals and i take on WHAT I CAN HANDLE. newsflash, youve took on a load of animals you cant take proper care of! so the only ignorant person here is you quite frankly. youre ignorant to the fact you chose this path, you knew what you were getting yourself into but you decided your animals should work around your schedule and not be top priority. they depend on us and i understand that binding commitment, you clearly do not. its funny you tried to do a switcharoo using what i said against me but you have failed miserably because youre small minded and too ignorant to notice that work and life isnt an excuse to neglect your pets needs because EVERYONE HAS A LIFE AND WORK. welcome to my ted talk
@Jesse Porter sounds like youre spreading yourself too thin and youre trying to project this experience onto the world. but fyi i live in a reality where we can get proper rabbit housing and if we cant, we shouldnt get rabbits. what does time have to do with buying a non wired bottomed cage i just do not know. all i see are excuses. dont get pets if you cant take proper care of them simple as. just like you shouldnt have kids if taking care of them will be a hinderence. its really that simple. i also loveee how you keep assuming you have more responsibilities than me when you dont even know me, its hilarious tbh. im not assuming shit about your life im just telling you if you cant handle it, dont take more responsibility on its simple as. im not going to entertain your delusions no more. im too busy for this, tara!
@Jesse Porter the points you keep making are pointless. use your profits to upgrade their housing and just stop with the violins. solutions not excuses. you know nothing about my life and im not going to engage in this pissing contest with you. have a good day 😊
@Jesse Porter im sorry you believe this is your reality and this is how things should be. im a visionary that creates my own reality and youre just stuck in one regressing depressing mindset. i hope one day you get a breath of fresh air and a new outlook that will change your life for the better. life is what you make it. youre not going to change it by doing same things over and over again and expecting a different result. hope my fantasy world comes true for you 🙏
I thought I was hearing things at first when he said "Only 2 babies, going to have to replace her because only 2 babies isn't good for a meat rabbit". Such a terrible attitude. But then you see how small the cages is and it makes ense he only breads for his own gain. Hopefully a dying breed of human..
I learnt something that I didn't know, I didn't know that the baby cold be cold, I troll my 7 baby rabbit 3days because they were not moving and I was thinking they were dead,
Don't panic. As long as she has them in the next box there isn't much for you to do and she will probably take care of them just fine. Watch her closely the day that she is due to kindle and if she has them on the wire move them to the nest box as soon as you can. That is really about all you need to do.
My rabbit had 6 babies unexpectedly and I’m watching all your videos and your so helpful, thank you!
Can you move or make a new nest if her nesting box got wet from the rain? We had 4 last night (surprise) during a storm!!

Yessss, they need to be warm and dry. Try to keep as much fur as possible.
A rabbit that consistently has only 2 babies can make a great foster mom.

How many times do we have to warm up the cold babies? only when they were first born? or constantly?
The mother will keep them warm with the fur she pulled out
Only warm them if they're alive but outside the nest box. Otherwise fur and straw will do. If they're outside the box, put them back in after warming.

Is that a replacement for your red New Zealand doe?
no. I still have the New Zealand Red. This is just my other doe.
Dose the first litter of bunnies die I’ve heard that happens a lot
It isn't something that happens every time. But it isn't uncommon to lose the first litter either.
My bunny that I thought was fixed apparently had babies! 7 babes all alive! Surprised me! They are all healthy looking and beautiful! Mine are pets so this is new territory for me!
my bunny had her first litter of 8 but 7 has passed. there’s one left :( I’m doing my best to help her out!
Isabella Baker they ended up passing away but she had her second litter this morning so I’m hoping this one goes well
Hi uhm so this is the second time my bunny gave birth, the first time she had 9 and all grown perfectly but this time she gave birth to most likely more than 10 but i’m not sure. she gave birth 2 days ago, can i pick up the baby bunnies to check on them?
Hlo, my rabbit just gave birth to 6 babies today morning but she is not going near them ...
What may be the problem?
That's normal. You will not see the mother near the babies very often. She will nurse them 4 or so times a day. As long as the babies look healthy when you check on them, the mother is doing her job. Congrats on the kits! Mine just had 6 yesterday :)
@@atheleticgirl05 thank you 😃
My rabbit just give birth to three little bunnies.
Question ! So is it okay to handle them when mom just had them ? My bunny just gave birth to 5 little ones in the middle of the night
wait couple of hours
My rabbit got fall off 3 time in 10 min its ok or not ,should I go for 1 more fall off.
Zaid JB mine pulled a butt ton of hair with only 2. But it's my first time.
Bailey Boys so it good or bad
More the me and mine seems preggo
I would say that is good. I usually try to get two or three in a breeding. I would consider her pregnant and prepare to put a nest box in on day 27.
Hi, my rabbit pulled fur about 4 days ago, lots of it and she hasn’t given birth yet! What do I do?!
She should give birth soon!
Lol
sven Murzelo.
My rabbit just had her babies and she was digging where they were and didn't cover them what should I do
Also she had six is it fine if their not covered up but they are huddled together
Slightly Rednecked thank you sir.
no problem. Good luck.
Slightly Rednecked can i use 2x2x2 cage?
My rex doe had 6 her first time, then her 2nd time I only got 1 fall off and she didn't want anything to do with the buck, and boom on Halloween She had 1 baby 4 days late lol.
my doe(first litter) , she had 9 babies and ive lost 4 i really need help please
My rabbit had 12+ kits today (not meat rabbits)
Congratulations on your new rabbits.
Thank you
My female had 8 kits but they were all dead this is her second litter the male killed her first litter of 3 and mated with her right away.
My female is 30 days pregnant she hasn't pulled fur but she made a nest no signa of her about to give birth. Has this happened to you?
I'm late but sometimes their late with fur pulling if she is bleeding 1 it could be a miscarriage 2 she might me late hopefully their already born !!! And if they are how many did she have?Lol
@@Eriana-ju1jq they were born today at 2pm 7 healthy babies!!!
Hey ....
My rabbit bunny start eating grass from the very 10 day from his birth...
Is it save for him?
It should be fine. As long as he still has his normal food to eat as well and isn't limited to only grass.
My rabbit had 9 kits today, what should i feed the momma rabbit?
Not a meat rabbit BTW😅
Awesome. Congrats on your new rabbits. You shouldn't have to add anything special to the mother's diet. Just the same rabbit pellets you always feed. The only thing I do different is to make sure I keep the feeder full at all times after the babies are born. I hope that helps.
Can you hold a new born baby
Hi everyone my bunny had a couple babies outside and I live in Fresno so it’s 100 degrees… should I bring them inside???
Also, I had to clean the cage because I found bugs so now it’s fluff is gone.. I left a towel there for it to find
what if my female didnt have them in a nesting box?
That is a common issue, especially with first time moms. The best thing to do is to gather them up as soon as you can and put them in the nest box for her.
my rabbit gave birth to 7 a couple of days ago and they are moving around and squirming a lot is that normal?
Yes
@@ibberz thank you 😊
I am about to have some baby rabbits and it’s my first litter. Can anybody give me any tips? I’m a little nervous that my newborn babies will die.
Can I move her nest? Hers is in a weird spot
Yes, you can move the nest box around if you want to. There is a good chance that she will move it back but it won't cause any issues.
My rabbit had babys like a year ago and she had them in her hay feeder lol
Help! My rabbit had 4 babies, im afraid she gonna step on them, so i separate them, should i keep them togther?
You should make a basket and keep the mom with the babies
And you should separate the male
dont seperate the female, it wont step on the babies, it know
seperate the male after mating
Keep and babies and the mother together! But make sure the father is separated!
Would you check on them everyday?
sure. Nothing wrong with that. I tend to check on them when i feed every day. I don't usually open the cage just look in and make sure I still see movement.
my rabbit had 12! Sadly they were all dead):
I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully she does better with the next litter.
When I had rabbits and bred multiple rabbits at once I liked having one that had small litters so I had a place to foster babies so there would be an equal number of nipples and mouths come feeding time. I found I had better growth when the number of mouths were equal to the number of nipples.
Good point.
but that point only applies if you have rabbits that have extraordinarily large litters that are bred at the same time as a small litter mommas... everyone situation is different and you look like you need to replace that momma rabbit.
Can you get a x pen
Thankyouuuuu all my questions answered with your videos 👏
Thank you for watching. I am glad you found this video helpful.
I've been breeding rabbits for 15 years I keep 2 does sometimes 3 and I only breed each doe once a year... if it's a new mom ill.breed her once in early spring like Feb then again in Sept, then its 1nce a year from.there on... also I built hutches theat are wire bottom with a closed in nesting area with an acces door in the back... works MUCHHHH better than nesting boxes.
so it really is a myth that shell reject them
Omg my rabbit had an accidental litter!! I have no idea if the babies are still alive they look stiff anyone have an idea?
I am sorry for the slow response. I am sure you have figured it out by now. But if it happens again, try to get the babies warmed up as fast as you can.
I have baby newborn rabbits it's about a hour old or two hours old
Nice. Congratulations on your new baby bunnies.
Not a hater but if she's such a good mom why don't you just put other babies under her?
That is an option. You could definitely do that.
Nice video I have 3 more litters due in a week
nice. Good luck on your upcoming litters.
i really need help, please help me asap
My rabbit had only 1 last night
I hope you did not kill this beautiful mother.
I don't think I did. That was a few years ago and I don't have that doe anymore. But I don't process my breeders so I am sure I didn't process her.
I mean it's meat so kind of a waste unfortunately if people don't process a rabbit.
What difference would it make? You're only going to breed them and kill their babies anyway if for meat lol
My first time mother rabbit had just one baby
I am sorry to hear that. I hope it is doing ok.
2:29 at least you got some!
True. It could be a lot worse.
Yes true, but two us a very small amount for s nz flem cross, I'd expect 9 plus
My rabbit had 6 lastnight but 1 died but the rest r great and healthy
I am sorry that you lost the one. Congrats on the rest though.
may mama rabbit just get birth with 7 bhaby.but i cant see his feeding her bhabies:-(
That is normal. You will very seldom if ever see her feed her babies. As long as they are not overly skinny and active they are being fed. Don't worry.
@@Slightlyrednecked ill check mine hopefully she feeds them, she gave birth this morning
@@Slightlyrednecked thank you. I just really need help on this. This is my first time.
Sick!
hes raising meat and being self sufficient, rabbits where raised as meat before they where pets
My bunny had 4 yesterday x
Thank you God bless
Maybe it’s the male is the problem and not her. Try her with a different buck and see what the outcome is. God bless!
Good thinking. This is a new buck that I have successfully bred to my other doe. Also the last time this rabbit had babies (different buck) she only had two. Really points to it being the doe.
I have ten baby rabbits
Awesome. Congratulations.
Nice intro....
thanks. :)
Cool
Thanks, I am glad you liked it.
My had 69 babies
@Jesse Porter the points you keep making are pointless. use your profits to upgrade their housing and just stop with the violins. solutions not excuses. you know nothing about my life and im not going to engage in this pissing contest with you. have a good day 😊
@Jesse Porter im sorry you believe this is your reality and this is how things should be. im a visionary that creates my own reality and youre just stuck in one regressing depressing mindset. i hope one day you get a breath of fresh air and a new outlook that will change your life for the better. life is what you make it. youre not going to change it by doing same things over and over again and expecting a different result. hope my fantasy world comes true for you 🙏
Wooow what a monster and animal abuser.. I could never exploit an animal that way
Agreed! I had no idea he was involved in that kind of trade. Abuse and neglect. People Must be crazy to take advice from him.
I thought I was hearing things at first when he said "Only 2 babies, going to have to replace her because only 2 babies isn't good for a meat rabbit". Such a terrible attitude. But then you see how small the cages is and it makes ense he only breads for his own gain. Hopefully a dying breed of human..

I learnt something that I didn't know, I didn't know that the baby cold be cold, I troll my 7 baby rabbit 3days because they were not moving and I was thinking they were dead,
I am glad to hear that they are doing ok.
Hi my female rabbits it's making the nest but after two days no rabbits what is causing that
Sometimes female rabbits can still have maternal instinct even when they are not pregnant if not spayed
I am about to have some baby rabbits and it’s my first litter. Can anybody give me any tips? I’m a little nervous that my newborn babies will die.
Don't panic. As long as she has them in the next box there isn't much for you to do and she will probably take care of them just fine. Watch her closely the day that she is due to kindle and if she has them on the wire move them to the nest box as soon as you can. That is really about all you need to do.
