It would be interesting to know which gimbal functions are compatible with the S23 Ultra's camera app. For example if I want to record in 4k 60fps or 8k 30fps, or if I want to make a slow motion.
I don't have a gimbal but I've watched a ton of Insta360 Flow reviews, and this video is head and shoulders above all the others. I'm sick and tired of pretty meaningless unboxing videos showing the instruction manuals etc. What I want is real life use. You nailed it! Thank you!

@Young360 I've tried, but the tripod works only with its own app, if I use the phone app to shot videonthe tripod is not working and therefore doesn't stay straight. As far as I can see, Tripod app doesn't have the dieector view option, making the product, for me, less useful
I use the Flow a lot. I do short videos from my desk. Prior to the Flow I was using a tripod with a camera mirror Jerry rigged behind it to see the screen and line up the shot. I'd also have to balance the phone w/ the level feature on the setup. The Flow does this all for me and follows me if I move out of frame. It's a real game changer for solo content creators. It's simple to setup and use. It's also small enough to fit in my back jeans pocket. The 1 downside is that the arm can get in the way with ultrawide in some positions, but every product has its own limitations. Fortunately, none out wight the MANY benefits of the Flow for me. The easy Setups and fast startup is 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi! How did you activated the auto zoom? Have you used the selfie camera for this? When I use the selfie, after I frame me for tracking there is no Auto Zoom command like on your screen. If you use the main camera, how do you manage to frame yourself for tracking? Thank you!

No, you didn't understand me, when I have the microphone connected to my phone, and at the same time I have the gimbal app turned on, I can't select the external microphone there. The gimbal app only records the phone's sound. :(

Hi, Thanks for your helpful and entertaining videos. I was particularly interested in controlling the native camera shutter via just the bluetooth connection to the Insta360, about 1 minute in on your video. I find that with my set up pressing the Shutter button on the insta 360 changes the zoom setting on the camera but wont take a shot/start a video. Are you using the Samsung Native camera app. It looks a little different in the screen shot to my one on the video. Been searching for ways to get this to work as I find the Native camera app appears to capture slightly better video quality than the 360 app. Hope you or anybody reading this can help and thanks for your great work - even the dancing :-)

Did you notice any of the apparent shortcomings of using this gimbal with an Android phone though? Apparently some of the features don't work...
few features dont work but honestly, i dont use all the features...😅 so, for me, I have been taking Flow when i do more serious smartphone gimbal shootings as Flow is so tiny and neat!

Is there a way to make timelapse work without wifi? I tried to take a timelapse but there wasn't wifi at the location, and the app gave a message that said wifi needed to be on 😢
I have seen some videos where one can see the top of the gimbal with in selfie/v log "mode". However there was no sign of it in your video. Oh I get it, you were using the front camera whereas if you allowed the gimbal to twirl the camera around using the back camera then you would see the top of the gimbal in the shot. You have just provided a work around for this if v logging.

Hello , very good video thank you very much. But you forgot to mention a major problem of this gimbal : the very fragile joystick, mine broke after two weeks of use , this joystick broke when I tried to put the gimbal in my pocket. A quick research on the internet proves my point , a lot of people are facing this issue after a few days or weeks of use. Mine is actually on its way for repair , I do not know yet if Insta360 will be ok for a warranty repair ( they should be ok because it is clearly a design mistake , specially if you compare with the OM6’s joystick which much more robust ). I just to mention this issue to warn people before buying this joystick , just be aware that there is a major design flaw with the joystick and be ready to face problems.

yeah, i believe so. my Samsung phone's default camera has that director's view function. you can easily use that with the gimbal
