Yes! Thank you for reviewing this, i feel like we don't get much talk of the Technics headphones. 31:58 I'm glad you mentioned this, i thought my az60 earbuds didn't sound bright enough either. So it's good to see the headphones don't suffer from that. Honestly, they should just give more gain and frequencies in the app for us to adjust on our end, instead we only get 5. I really don't know what they're thinking with this. They have such good soundstage and sound separation but i expect more from such expensive products.
Indeed tested AZ 60 and 80 commented on one of Ron’s reviews on the AZ80 lack of punch and volume! A800 is definitely one of the loudest leaving great device like M4 trying at 100% volume when using A800 at 75%… Sound quality is as perfect as M4 yet you can blast it if you wish
Thank you for the review. One question how do the Status headphones stack up compared to these in sound quality? I ask because you seemed to really like the sound of the Status. Thanks again much appreciated.💯👍🇺🇸
Hi Ron great video can you do a video of the Yamaha yh e700a. I believe you would really enjoy them if you enjoyed these. Thank you and I appreciate your work!
ANC2 is great yet nowhere near A800! Of course no rumbling bass but Technics sound signature is so great and yeah you can surely push the bass but little to no rumbling
One of the best headphones i have under 800$ (canadian, yeah i am from Canada, poor me 😂). Ron, did you listened to them wired? The sound is sooo good !!! More bass, soundstage opens a lot and volume is crazy 😂
did you manage to compare these to B&W Px7 S2? Also any tips on which Bluetooth over-ears to try? I want to have only one pair of headphones, listening on Google Pixel 8, streaming through Deezer (FLAC). Thanks!
Bro, for this you get a sub! And if you ever reach out on that back, I'm gonna give you one more sub through my wife's account. I went the other day to a store and tested out the px7 S2 and the Sennheiser s. I didn't like the B&W at all, but I was really enamoured by the M4s. I love a bright, detailed, revealing headphones.
Got my Technics recently, I experience the same popping sound with ANC on. This really getting me upset, even while everything else is great: sound quality, battery life, etc. Now I am looking at Jbl tour one m2, should I give them a try? Do they have comarable sound quality?
I had that issue with the Technics when I firs started wearing them. But after some time, that popping sound went away. As for the Tour ONE M2s, they are really good. I will have to put them head to head against the Technics in order to give you an honest answer. Stay tuned for that.

Great review! Thanks
nice one man, very informative.
Glad you liked it!
Great Review. Upgraded my Xm3s to the bose ultra, wish I had seen these before at under half the price of the bose, I would have gotten these.
Thanks.
You're a worker Bee.
Great review to the points; how would you compare A800 to M4 you just reviewed? I certainly enjoyed A800 better than most due to its volume potential
I'll have to put them head to head. Stay tuned for that.

I will check it out.
literally dropped the skullcandy anc 2 vid and this one right before i searched for both of them😮
ANC2 is great yet nowhere near A800! Of course no rumbling bass but Technics sound signature is so great and yeah you can surely push the bass but little to no rumbling
@@reklovjj I think they are both on par when you consider the price since the Skullcandy can go as low as 170 from what I’ve seen.
@@MightyFighter7 tough call and a matter of personal preference; I’ll try them both, compare then choose
@@reklovjj yeah personal preference does play a role, I’ll also try them both since they’re both in my budget and look good.

I have. They do sound much better wired. But I figured that would happen.
Have you done an unboxing and review of the Bluetooth headphones made by Mark Levinson?
No I haven't. Any suggestions?

I am also thinking Dali IO-6
I will add that to the list. Stay tuned.
I just ordered the Dali IO-6. Waiting for them to arrive. I will compare them too.

does this have spatial audio for movies?
No they don't. But movies still pretty good with LDAC turned on.

The mic seems digital. Good thing i bought the edifier. Mic ks much better
The plastic hinges both broke just after warranty ended. Very disappointing build quality. I do not recommend this product.
Completely understandable. Sorry to hear about them breaking.
