Even Ldac turned on not gives you best soung quality. You have to turn on dev options in the android settings, go to bluetooth codec and select best audio option instead of best effort.
for me at least I find headphones to be way less useful than earbuds because they are hard to take along with you if you are going to work or commuting. You can't use them at work, they would have to be stored until you get home. Those things make me prefer earbuds. I really like the sound of the beats solo 4 but I returned them due to these points. Looking forward to the beats solo buds in 2 weeks and the OnePlus buds 3 both $80 please cover those if you can
How does the techniques hold to date regarding build quality
Did you turn on LDAC? Technics support LDAC and that makes the difference.
I always leave LDAC on for the Technics. The Shures are really good.
