- Mega steak meal cooked on my outbacker stove when out hot tent camping in my onetigris iron wall stove tent .
Hot tent camping is more for winter camping in the colder months but I just had to get my onetigris iron wall stove tent out and spend do a overnighter in the woods,
The stove I am using is a original outbacker stove with grills for extra inlet. The outbacker stove is heavy so long hiking to a location is not the best idea,

Easy to put up, sheds bad weather fantastically and just needs a stick pole or hanging line to put up.
Been using my Golite for 20years.
I was out last weekend for 4 nights, proper nippy so I don't blame you.

Totally get the “why worry” take on life, as mine was the same, unfortunately jenny following the ambulance with me in it a couple of months ago to the hospital, the tears on her face gave me a bit of a reality check mate.
l am 55 years old not over weight never smoked worked all my life and pretty much ate and drank as I pleased, said “naaa not me”… well I can assure you when a heart attack don’t kill you but leaves you not being able to walk 100 yards let alone up a hill, your signed off work as you can’t get the op you need to save your life and you watching youtube as it’s the closest you can get to getting out in the wild without falling off your perch as I am because I spent last weekend in

Next time you have the big mushrooms. Try putting garlic and stilton cheese on the underside, just let it melt in as they are cooling. 👍

I love my hot tent so it isn't winter yet there is always time to learn and learning is anytime. I some times use my hot tent in the summer just don't use the stove. I just got a new hot tent and I am planning a trip to Canada this winter . Your channel has taught me a whole boat load new ways to do things, you are awesome. I am going on a 🎃 Halloween camp out this year. Great teacher you are God bless and stay safe.

Steaks better well done! There are a few of those chairs around, keeps your posterior of the ground. I had a heart attack running around at work when everyone else did little to nothing, so you do what you want to do and enjoy yourself. Stay safe atb 🥩🥩😋👍🦊

Holy Molly mushrooms they are the biggest mushrooms i have seen i would be stuffing them with stuffing and crabmeat wow what beauty's. I don't mind watching you eat, you cooked a beautiful meal and we like to see you enjoy your meal and enjoy the forest.
Some Bracket fungi you see on trees are edible and they are huge .
Though as with all foraging if you dont know what you are picking dont eat it

For the volume of wood you take with you for the fire , you should take some ovoid coal, it burns all night and regulates the wood burning temp lower and longer.

I'm a little new to this type of tent. Can someone explain to me how it's safe inside? I gather there's some type of heatproof/fireproof hole in the tent for the chimney pipe. I mean it looks brilliant

I wrap mine in cling film and beat the living sh*t out of it to make it really tender before cooking.

Just wondering if your stove is rusty with water pouring in from the top part of the chimney when it fills up and runs down onto the stove? I have the same stove and haven't used it in the rain yet. And you only have the front vent open to start the fire, then just leave a crack, you want the heat hanging around in the fire and not blowing up the chimney.

Good video, well done, got a bit of practice for the cold weather. Loved the double steaks, mushrooms are tasty but not much nutritional value.

I always eat one banana a day, sometimes 2 as it keeps you regular if you know what I mean.
You really shouldn't encourage the foxes, they're nasty creatures, will kill chickens for spite, they kill & eat cats as well. Ask any farmer what he thinks of foxes. They might be cute to look at but they are sods.
