I still like dual monitors, however, this monitor allows you to split the screen so you essentially have two separate monitors. I use one of the split screens as a reference and the other for programming.

@@alizeinaldine2568My advice is not to get 27inch 4K monitor. Everything will be just too small. Icons, text...etc. I have 27inch 2K (2560x1440) and everything that is higher resolution than that is just too much and it isn't effective at all. If you want 4K resolution, consider getting larger monitor (32inch or above). That is from my experience.

Programmer here with Cavapoo. :) On hunt for ultrawide, 4K is not good on Mac for programmers as text scaling just doesn't work. It's not Retina. Big screen 1440p is a sweet spot as you can use native resolution and still see the text. Can you confirm that text looks good on your IDE?

For Downscale (16:9) 4k to 1440p or 1080p will be better or Ultrawide (21:9) 1440p to (16:9) 1440p and Ultrawide (21:9) 1080p to (16:9) will be better? Please test these 3 resolution and 2 ratios in one monitor Which one should I pick for better downscale when my GPU can't handle games in the future? Is it looks bad or good? Can you please make a video of it? There is no video of it with a good explanation on youtube. Try different games both Ultrawide and 4k and downscale them from 4k to 1440p and 1080p and 21:9 Ultrawide, 1440p and 1080p (16:9 Ratio) I am really confused by these two monitors which one will be best for downscale when my GPU can't handle games in the future. I want the best in 3 worlds, 4k or Ultrawide, 1440p, and 1080p. And another one is curve feels uncomfortable since it's curved. Are games look weird, curve-looking, and stretched? Great content. • @АбракадабраКобра259

Hi, thanks for the review, I'm looking at these ergo displays, for instance 34WN780-B in particular, and since they seem to be very closely related, could you say if there's a menu item that disables auto-switching when active input goes off? Or is it just off by default and won't be "smart"? It's a very underdocumented thing, and I switch inputs and turn input signal on and off a lot and I want the display to stay on selected input. Some do have that feature configurable in menu, some just never switch over by themselves, and some ALWAYS auto-switch and there's no way to configure that. So I need to know if these are the bad "smart" type or configurable or just a normal, "not smart". Thank you. Very hard to find this info.

    • @IanLenehan

you say "without move my head" and you are literally moving it :D ua-cam.com/video/uKLuEI-nwB0/v-deo.htmlsi=Udrd8jzePOW59Edx&t=213
And that's my main question about ultrawide and side by side windows... do you have to constantly switch my head.
With dual monitor, the main one is where my head is always pointed at and the secondary I occasionally tilt my head.
Btw a phisiotherapist suggested to move the side one from left to right every month or so to avoid neck strain.
