Regarding Kes and Seven together in the credits, this is deliberate. This video is supposed to represent the show as a whole and not a particular season.
You did well with this, by adding both Kes and Seven. Were Jennifer Lien retained on the crew, the storylines would have been awesome with Kes and Seven.
"You are erratic. Conflicted. Disorganised. Every decision is debated, every action questioned, every individual entitled to their own small opinion. You lack harmony, cohesion, greatness. It will be your undoing."
The scary thing about this quote is that it's almost universally factual. Everyone says they want individuality, but it's only until they meet a conflicting opinion that doesn't jive with their particular collective influence.
"Space, the Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Voyager. Her continuing mission, to return home. To seek out every side-quest possible to make the trip longer than it needs to be. To boldly go back to where every man has been before!"
The 'Hero Shot' of Voyager there at the end, with the attention to detail in the windows is fantastic! I wonder if Voyager ever got the 4K treatment, we'd get treated to those kinds of special moments...
20 seconds in, the camera passes Bioships and Borg Cubes and I was thinking "That's already the very best thing on UA-cam right now!" - and then it gets so much better.
This is beyond amazing! My jaw is still on the floor. That was gorgeous and creative and just excellent. Wow. You have outdone yourself. Thank you so much for this.
You just made a 35 year old man smile like a kid again, at the end of a hard working day. This is fantastic, man! I've always wanted to see Voyager with the TNG intro style and you pulled it off amazingly! This video really made my day! The details of the Borg cubs and Species 8472 bio-ships along with the crew seen in the little windows at the end was an outstanding touch! This intro should be morphed into the Bluray of Voyager if one ever gets released. Next Generation and Voyager have always been my favorite Star Trek shows and both have seen me through some tough times. Thank you again for this gift!
The attention to detail is astounding. I even got the asteroid reference, well done! Right down to the impulse engines turning off as it goes to warp and the Captain, Chakotay and Seven in the ready room. Excellent.
This is utterly amazing i love it!! The CGI Voyager looks amazing. The Voyager nacelles & warp sounds just make it that much even better. & the fully detailed interior at the end with all the crew walking around....... Amazing.
Ahh, this is amazing. All the detail you put in makes it really great: The Kazon ship at the beginning, the Borg and the extreme closeup details both inside and outside Voyager and the way you did the emissive bits and colour graded the ship. It's all just quality.
I actually love this. The ship fly-bys have the added meaning of rushing to get home. It makes far more sense for the plot than Voyager meandering slowly through the beautiful Delta quadrant space-scapes of the original intro. You did a great job capturing the essence of both intros, down to seeing people in the windows at just the right time!
I've been going through all your videos and just wanted to say what an absolute thing of beauty this is! I laughed and nearly cried throughout. I especially loved the added touch of stuff like the Kazon, Caretaker's Array, Species 8472 and the Borg at the start. But Voyager herself was outstanding! You are an absolute wizard to have produced something so perfect. The same, of course, goes for all your other videos. I love your variations on different things, like this TNG version of the Voyager intro. It's such an original idea and I, as a lifelong Trekkie, love it all 100%.
Nice! Well done! The intro graphics are great, and when Janeway tells Paris " Set a course for home", nice touch! Although I have to say I still like the original better, but I've always thought that that little bit of "Where No Man Has Gone Before" theme should be at the beginning of every Star Trek series title song.
That was f***ing awesome! The original intro was pretty good already but this is fantastic! If CBS should ever decide to release VOY on 4K they have to use your intro! Great work!
This is insane. I often imagine what the show could have ended up if it was made today. And just fan creations like this are already AMAZING! Great job!
This 100% doesn't work for the show, but how GOOD this is REALLY is a testament to the talent and time and determination of those that made it! It looks so good and is SPOT on for the style. It honestly makes me MISS that feeling of coming home knowing there was a new Episode of Voyager on that night and It genuinely got me excited in the same way. Stylistically and visually, this approach is too proud, too sure of itself, too stable... which Voyager is alone and 'wandering star, far from home.' And although there is a sense of pride and stability, the sense of loneliness, loss, searching, long travels, eager waiting... isn't as clear with this visual style (unlike the actual intro) but dang this came out really nice! Congrats to the team for great work!
One of the things that I couldn't stand the most about TNG was the overly proud, bombastic music. Always preferred Voyager's intro the most with that cold but beautiful, almost haunting song
Wow this was amazing, and as a Star Trek fan, this truly does feel right, it definitely feels like this is what the intro might’ve been if the original one wasn’t working.
Damn... 1:25 is the money shot that really sells the size of the ship, with individual figures visible inside the windows. I've watched that sequence more times than I care to admit. xD I remember on the show they once had a similar closeup shot zooming in on the captains' ready room in the Episode 'Good Shepherd'...but for some reason I don't remember it to be as impressive as THIS. :D
WOW! That was fantastic. The rendering on Voyager is stunning, I love that you can see inside the ship on the final fly-by. Please do more of the Berman era Star Trek series videos of the ships. Thank you.
Ok that’s now officially my favourite fan Star Trek vid on the whole of the internet- you must devote the rest of your days to making more of this please.
Seeing the crew through the windows was the icing on the cake! Bravo!
Agreed! It adds depth to the size of the ship.
I didn’t see them! Which time stamp?
@@HowDidIGet3700Subs About 1:30-1:34. Roughly.
@@HowDidIGet3700Subs I think you can even see Janeway, Seven, and Chakotay in the ready room.
I love it! Little details like that let you know that the artist really cares.
Now you have to do TNG in Voyager's style...
YES! Exactly what I was gonna say! Lots of beautiful angles of the Enterprise-D!
Do it
DO IT
please!
YES! that would be a great intro to see
Regarding Kes and Seven together in the credits, this is deliberate. This video is supposed to represent the show as a whole and not a particular season.
oO(Seven wasn't in the early episodes.)
@@beingsshepherd what is your point here? They do share 3 episodes, Scorpion II, The Gift and later, Fury.
@@leebutler9470 The comment I'd replied to has now been edited.

@@mardus_ee funny enough, that was the original plan.
I love that you can see Caption Janeway in her office!
With her hands on her hips!
I'm Pretty sure she have a cup of coffee in her hands, damn it I have to watch it again just to be sure 😅😂
Seven and I believe Chakotay or Paris are also in there.
Had to ruin the 69 thumbs up
Sorry....
She should have her coffee...
I like how the impulse engines shut down just before Voyager goes to warp 👌
I noticed that too. Technically correct at last
:-D
Glad I wasn't the only one to notice
It's the little things the get you
I know, right? Sooo good.
Nice detail, never ever do it before, and totally logical

...and to find coffee
More like "to boldly go back to where *everyone* has *gone* before."
I get it. I like to play thoroughly too, to get the whole experience.
How about "To boldly go where everyone will go again later"? Star Trek Online proves that.
@@alexandergarcia6815 "to boldly go where spacekidd69420 will die 40 times trying to beat a boss battle"

I love that classic 24th century rubber band warp effect. You portrayed it perfectly!
20 seconds in, the camera passes Bioships and Borg Cubes and I was thinking "That's already the very best thing on UA-cam right now!" - and then it gets so much better.

Thank you so much for this.
Lol. Me too
You kidding? This was so beautifully done that I was almost brought to tears.
I guess the one sad thing about voyager (and ds9 for that matter) is Janeway (and sisko) never did a voice over of the captain's oath.
My first thought.
it wouldn't be appropriate for DS9 since it's a space station boldly going..........nowhere.
There's still time!
@@awilliams1701 Well actually once they had the Defiant, then they could have done so in the later seasons
@@worfsonofmogh1154 its' star trek ds9 not star trek defiant. lol OMG Imagine worf doing that opening. hahahahaha
Extreme bonus points for including both Jennifer Lien and Jeri Ryan. : )
I know, right? They did good work, both of them, and they deserve to be recognized.
I loved see the Caretaker array at the beginning. All the visuals in this are beautiful.
The Borg cubes casually roam on by.

The voyager intro is about exploring the unknown and seeing things that have never been seen in the alpha quadrant

It's pretty amazing how this idea turned out!
Also amazing to see what is possible nowadays.
Stellar work. This is really well done, especially your attention to detail, timing with the music, and texturing of the hull as well as the lighting.
The majesty of the TNG theme and the wondrous visuals of Voyager.
