#Ethnic, #dance, #drumnbass, trance, breakbeat music in one
This is real greek music.
So similar to Palestinian and Lebanese music
@@mohamedkabha8838Farya Faraji, check him out. He explains the origins of this sound. Apparently its a mediteraneean specific type of music, not Arabic or smth

Great Thrasian music!
He has a channel on UA-cam called Arbor Cultus. Great musician
It is identical to the music of Bulgaria. It is wonderful !
We are all the same brother
It's Greek Thracian music, that's why, culture unites us, today Thrace is splitted in three countries, but culture is one, i'm from Evros and we share same foods, music, clothes, Thrace is ONE !
Countries and time can divide land, but not people and culture.
Very similar. Some songs are almost the same but kaba gaida is more common in Bulgaria and djura gaida is more common in Greece. Also Bulgarians don’t play tsampouna but Greek islands do.
Very similar since both nations have Thracian (thraikes ancestry) but sometimes different tuning and songs
Greece provided the root for many of the national traditions which later developed on the grounds of what used to be the Roman empire.

This lifted my spirits. The beautiful girls should show up and start dancing.
Thrace (Modern Greek: Θράκη Thráki) or Thraike in Greek mythology, was the eponymous heroine and sorceress of Thrace. She was the daughter of Oceanus and Parthenope, and sister of Europa. The word Thrace, from ancient Greek Thrake (Θρᾴκη), referred originally to the Thracians (ancient Greek Thrakes Θρᾷκες), an ancient people inhabiting Southeast Europe. Ancient Greek mythology provides the Thracians with a mythical ancestor Thrax, the son of the war-god Ares, who was said to reside in Thrace. In Greece people also use the word "Thraka" (Greek, θρακα) for a pile of burning coals, usually for grilling food, but in their ritual in many villages "Anastenaria" (Greek, Αναστεναρια) they walk barefood on burning coals, maybe the foreigners and historians who account them for the first time they give that name because of the many thraces (θρακες) in their land.
In Thracian religion the main gods are Dionysus later Orpheus and evolved in Byzantine and modern times to Christianity.
Most accounts say Dionysus was born in Thrace, traveled abroad, and arrived in Greece as a foreigner. His attribute of "foreignness" as an arriving outsider-god may be inherent and essential to his cults, as he is a god of epiphany, sometimes called "the god who comes"
One of the main instruments of Thrace is askaulos bagpipe askos+aulos bag+pipe "the bag of dionysus" today known as gaida and is made by goat skin, in the ancient ceremonies they sacrifice many goats/lambs thats why one of the epithet of dionysus is Aegobolus Αἰγοβόλος ("goat-shooter"), like christianity later they believe that the flesh (now bread) of the goat is the body of god and the wine is hιs blood, in ceremonies they use music to achieve ecstasy, one of the rituals that survived today is the Anastenaria people sacrifice a goat possesed by a spirit and dancing barefoot on fire, also in every spring in all over Greece in Easter to celebrate the ressurection of Christ/Dionysus is to cook and eating hundreds of goats/lambs.
"In Orphic legend, Dionysus under the name Zagreus "hunter who catches living animals" was the son of Zeus by his daughter Persephone. At the direction of Hera, the infant Zagreus/Dionysus was torn to pieces, cooked, and eaten by the evil Titans. But his heart was saved by Athena, and he (now Dionysus) was resurrected by Zeus through Semele. Zeus struck the Titans with lightning, and they were consumed by fire. From their ashes came the first humans, who thus possessed both the evil nature of the Titans and the divine nature of the gods"

old ethnic music is often repeated.
I think these instruments don't have many keys to play in a variety of ways

no, Turks prefer oriental/middle eastern music, not eastern european like this
@@snowman9452this music is not "eastern european", it's literally the sound of mediterranean/levantine/middle east. Ancient
it could be pentozali when the song becomes faster
гайда и тъпан
The bagpipes are Scottish like haggus is Greek.
