You can literally use the bags, pillowcases and even the shovel to make splinters out of the closet, use the fuel to burn the door and then the shovel to chip away at it, besides you don't have to break the lock just break the support holding it but the main downside would be the smoke
In this situation stay calm. You saw a shovel, you saw many wooden/ metal beds. If it's too dark to see, crawl down the stairs on your hands and knees and carefully feel your way around, using your memory. (This may sound silly, but the last thing you want is to hit your head or break an arm falling down the stairs) and if for some reason you couldn't lift up or find any of those bigger items, (and this may sound gruesome but you are about to be bones if you don't do it) there were bones that could be broken and sharpened and used as tools/ weapons. Use these to either break down the door if you are strong enough, or carve out the wood around the hinges or in the rock/dirt around the hinges. (After 'mother" is gone of course, don't do this while she is waiting there listening) Afterwards keep the shovel and broken bone/wood on you as some kind of makeshift dagger or concealed weapon. I assume mother will be trying to leave the island to abandon you there while you starve or something, so work fast but calmly. You will want to be in full strength when you wait for her to leave the house so you can give her a wallop to the back of her noggin, or maybe even while she's getting her boat ready and has her back turned. Stay quiet, stay calm, and be observant for any weapons she has on her. After she is either dead, or just knocked out and tied up, try using the phone to call for help after she's incapacitated, and if the phone doesn't work, get on your mother's boat and leave. Better than nothing, even if you don't know where land may be. Leave the witch to die tied up somewhere in a locked room, get creative. After you get to land, go straight to police, and let them know a child murderer had killed a bunch of kids on an island, give them her name, as many of the kids names you can remember, don't leave out details. (Also why confront your mother in the first place when she called? Always keep your information to yourself if you feel endangered, if she thinks you do not suspect her, you are then the clueless helpless victim instead of the very well informed helpless victim)

Aaaah I really liked this game!! It's well made and the story is taking ~ Fun fact: The direct translation of "Angel maker" in French (faiseuse d'anges) is a term that used to describe a woman that voluntary made the abortion of another woman that's what is called an unsafe abortion in English!
In old times in sweden, children from more "poor families" used to call their parents "mor" & "far". It was not as much used for the more wealthy families before. Not as many people say it anymore in sweden and it is not a "class"-thingy any longer either. It is more an old saying, very similiar to mormor/morfar(mom's parents), farmor/farfar(dad's parents).
"Mom, if I die here, I'll give you the worst curse this world ever saw." (I hope no one is here in the comments before actually watching the video) 19:57 "I'm expecting pizza, and I don't want you having any."
Unique problems require unique solutions...like using a bowel to clear the broken shards of a pot from a board game so you can read what's written on it.
Strange, in reality the communal apartment would contact the social service if the children dont appear in class or wonder why some security numbers still not been registered to school or medical appointment. It would work if the mother gave birth in secret and the kids not reciving security number for not existing. Thats how Sweden works, so the mother would be a suspect long ago
Oh but we never rly got more background about the mc, lynn, drowning near the docks, like why and when it happened, like it doesnt rly seem to fit the story much
@@trintawatkaewrungkit3288 but doesnt explain why she chose to let her live.My guess is she tried to wipe her memory of the past.Ive read that drowning could kind of cause brain damage and loss of memory in kids.
I still believe that the mother made the boys act like girls(as you can see in the hiding spot, there are only depictions of girls in dress with male names, and it's the only place you can find a toy car). The protagonist doesn't remember the boys because they were all acting and dressed up as girls. I believe the protagonist is actually male but he doesn't know, somehow. The mother used drowning as a reconditioning method but accidentally ended up by killing Mikael. The protagonist survived enough because she's the only one who "succeeded" into turning into a girl(that's why the mother is an "angelmaker). The rejected kids were thrown into the cellar and left to die. But the mother killed/rejected the protagonist by the end because she got into the forbidden room(probably forbidden because of the mother's locked diary), and the mother thought the protagonist had read the diary and found out about everything. That's my main theory. My second one is that she's a pedo, thus why her bedroom is forbidden and holds lots of crosses(guilt). EDIT: just a little something else I realized. In the shed, the footprints ends right on front of a hacksaw. Maybe the mother just... cut their genitals off. It would explain the lots of painkillers in mother's bedroom along with the other meds.
"Angelmaker" is Scandinavian slang for child-killer, sorry. Used to be that the people, usually women, who'd take in children born out of wedlock, only got a flat fee at the moment they took the child in. Some mothers kept sending resources to support their children, but they wouldn't have any legal recourse for visiting the child, and would be heavily discouraged from seeking contact by their families. So, strictly speaking, child survival wasn't mandatory to make money in this field, and in fact might ruin the cost/benefit side if the child lived longer than the money lasted. The assumption was that children would be innocent enough to get in to Heaven, so the killers that were found out usually tried to claim that they had been saving them, a kind of contemporary insanity plea.
@@Kasarii I read about that term previously when I first watched this played by CJU, so I already knew it. But I think that if this game is just about that, it would not surprise players whom are familiar with that term. I think "angelmaker" is just to mislead and make people think its just simple as that, but there is more into it. I don't think the details I pointed out in my previous comment are there just for nothing as mere coincidence. From the letters under the deck, a woman mentions that the mother previously lost a child(daughter?). I think its silly to ignore all the other hints only because of the "angelmaker" term, like "if she's angelmaker, that's it".
@@regulussky6560 Just a little doubt, as far as I know, Linn isn't a male name, so since the "mom" forced all the other children to act like girls, isn't it that Linn was just an actual girl, and thus were "favored" by default?
@@Minohorse My name is Allison, and in the country I live Allison is a male name, despite it is mostly a female name in other countries. Just take a look in the hiding spot. There are only drawings of kids in dresses but with male names. The only toy you can find in the house are dolls(including in the cellar), but inside the hiding spot is the only place you will find a toy car, so maybe it was the only place where Mikael and maybe other kids were allowed to act like boys. Possibly, the protagonist was the "chosen one" for having more female traits, like prettier girly face, girly voice or even by just looking like her deceased daughter. Remember that the protagonist also drowned as a kid, I believe by "her" mother as a reconditioning method, just like she did to Mikael and possibly all the other kids, but the protagonist doesn't remember and believes that she got drowned by her own. Mikael's spirit is trapped inside the house because he was the only kid that died inside the house, by the mother, accidentally drowned in the bathtub to death. The rest of the spirits must be inside the cellar, where mother willingly abandoned the rejected kids to die.
The character in question was definitely female. They were of mature age, had a feminine voice, had particularly effeminate looking hands, and in Scandinavian countries to my knowledge...Linn is definitely a female name. Sorry, not buying that theory for the character. But for the others? Yeah. The mom probably wanted daughters.
The real ending was that the mother never really forgave her lol plus she was kinda leading u to death just look at the crosses on the wall of her mother's bed room

I guess Gab already knows it, but "mor", is Swedish for, "mom" ("moeder", in Dutch, hence why it's obvious to Gab). I know in one update video Gab said her last name and not to try to pronounce it, but as a Swede/Norwegian (grown up in both countries, speak both languages), I find it rather easy to understand most (about... 80%) Dutch. Aaaah I really liked this game!! It's well made and the story is taking ~
Fun fact: The direct translation of "Angel maker" in French (faiseuse d'anges) is a term that used to describe a woman that voluntary made the abortion of another woman that's what is called an unsafe abortion in English!
Fun fact. 'MOR' means 'I'm dying' in Romanian
@@dam2259 dude in all scandi language come on
@@CakeMDC true
It also means "plague" in czech.
@@brokenblueberry9312 it has/had nothing to with them being poor - it’s just an old word and everyone used it. I still use it in for a settings
31:01 as cartman once said "kick the baby"
"sean, toby, sara" are in the credits actually.
48:43 i nearly had a heart attack for no reason when Gab brought up the ouija piece lol
So glad I wasnt the only one xD I went "Jesus!" Out loud and then realized Im a fool xD
"Mom, if I die here, I'll give you the worst curse this world ever saw." (I hope no one is here in the comments before actually watching the video)
19:57 "I'm expecting pizza, and I don't want you having any."
Unique problems require unique solutions...like using a bowel to clear the broken shards of a pot from a board game so you can read what's written on it.
12:16 when someone insults you and you cant think of a good comeback.
My god! This game had such a fantastic and creative story! Loved it!
Dagmar Overby was a Danish Angel-maker, she was really messed up.
Things that Gab said that had me laughing:
"ooo I was sniffing those balls"
"He's not looking, why you wavin'"
lmao
Finished my house work and “kids” work. Now it’s time for “me” time with Gab playing games & my coffee. 😍❤️
Oh but we never rly got more background about the mc, lynn, drowning near the docks, like why and when it happened, like it doesnt rly seem to fit the story much
Based on the evidence we have on the mother, I bet that was an attempt at Linn's life.
@@trintawatkaewrungkit3288 but doesnt explain why she chose to let her live.My guess is she tried to wipe her memory of the past.Ive read that drowning could kind of cause brain damage and loss of memory in kids.
Someone needs to make an animated version of this let's play
“She’s not in the toilet” Gab 2019
I had just said to myself "I wonder if anyone will say the cake is a lie" when you said it! LOL
"Mom...can you get my legs..."
Hahaha! You've always been funny, and you're getting funnier all the time, Gab. Guess that's called happiness. ツ

The real ending was that the mother never really forgave her lol plus she was kinda leading u to death just look at the crosses on the wall of her mother's bed room
forgave Linn? for what though? going into her room?
When GAB likes the game, then it must be rlly scary and thrilling.. not gonna lie
18:41 "I GOT U CAKE... BITCH!" omg i love that, hahah
I played this game before and I carried around the Mother Mary figurine that's on one of the shelves everywhere with me xD
this is an awesome indie find on itch, I loved it.
31:02 is the time my I pad learnt to fly 😂
How did I miss this video, that's really a good gameplay
Gab: "He's not looking. Why are you waving?..." "She likes to knit. Throw it in the fire..." XD XD Great commentary as always. It would be really interesting if the game actually let you throw something in the fireplace. What if you could just set the house on fire? That would be a cool, unexpected ending!
"mom....is that you" had me laughing so hard
4:30 ''what language is that? it´s some kind of Scandinavian language isn't it?'' woman on the tv screen says ''And the swedish hello!'' but in swedish. Also Mor in swe, is Mom in eng.
It's weird that's translated like that. In romanian "mor" means I die.
Dude. I know I'm late. But the woman says "swedish raspberries" not "the swedish hello"
I forgot that I got traumatized just recently if I ever heard even a rustle. So anything that makes a little noise freaks me out a lot
Time to chill with Gab and a horror game. Nice
Hey Gab, do you know about the "Corpse Party" series? I don't think I have ever seen you play any of them (I tried to look for them on your channel), and I think they might be right up your alley.
Oh, and now that I remember, I found a cute anime style point & click puzzle indie game that you might enjoy. "Resette's Prescription ~Book of memory, Swaying scale~"
... now that I think about it, I have been subscribed for quite a while and this might be the first comment that I make here. I came here thanks to your Parasite Eve videos. BTW, another classic PSX game that you might enjoy is "Vagrant Story". It has a bit of everything, action, mystery, horror, puzzles, fantasy, etc.
From your current games I am loving your Minecraft and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines series. :)
EDIT: I just found out that the DARQ dev is going to release a new free DLC thanks to the recent support he got thanks to rejecting the Epic deal. You might want to check it out when it comes out.
I don't think she'll ever play Corpse Party.
-Having this channel for more than 4 years, I doubt it wasn't recommended before;
-Plus, she is (at least) acquaintance with ManlyBadassHero, someone who have playthroughs of 5 Corpse Party games (well, not like she have to know he played those so this point is kinda invalid, but my first point stands).
Also, I feel like some of the anime tropes it have wouldn't be of her liking (but I may be wrong in this one too).
Eyy, I've met the animator of this game! He's a really nice guy, a lot of friends know him personally!
Gab made a lot of mess inside the house and it becomes a true horror for the mother. :P
Gab: ohhhh, so I need to turn all the lights *off*
Me: “noooooo 😭”
The female voice actor's voice is like a full body massage for my eardrums.
When you said address I thought you were saying a dress.... an actual dress. And when you open the box I was like OHHH AN ADDRESS.... I feel dumb
Always makes me smile, you are so funny. Thanks!
Finally back home! Can’t wait to watch Gab, you do put a smile on my face!
First video of yours i have seen, i love your demeanor and play style!
christian crume welcome friend 🙌🏻 I suggest you watch the japanese games she played 👍🏻 translated by her and super fun 🤩🤩
Irish Spring, tell me your secrets....
I know this is a bit late but there were 6 symbols on the TV, so I'm pretty sure Gab was right about the 4th number being linked to the TV.
I thought the radio said, "Open door and knock".
I know this comment is late. But I’m just happy to share some facts about this types of haunted houses: if this was crowded by a lot of people, they’re playing loud music in the living room the kitchen even the bedroom and all over, and this China made Lusis fireworks that says doesn’t explodes is being hold by all those people inside plus people using dragon fireworks outside, the bad spirits and all other ghost or demons will go away.
Spooky Santa? I believe that was Jack Skellington originally.
Isn't it scary that the most scary things are the humans?
That bathroom pop up scared the shit out of me. 😅🤣
Omg loving your content Gab, I really enjoy horror games especially ones with such an interesting story that keeps you on the edge of your seat 🥰 been binge watching these. I play on PlayStation so unfortunately we don't have access to all these type of ones. Only the really popular games like Until Dawn, Visage, Resident Evil, Silent Hill etc 😅
WOW that was SO good! tell sean to play it if you haven’t yet!
I always liked games that let you pick up everything even if it does nothing. I would just start forming a pile of everything I pick up 🤣 this is my offering of garbage to you angelmaker does it please you 🤣🤣

i commented this on another video but please please pleasee play Gone Home. its such an amazing game and i think you'll really like it. its less than 2 hours long and it tells an amazing story in such a cool way. its a good game for a stormy night that you play or watch cuddled in blankets its one of my favorite games of all time and more people should see it, it deserves a lot of love. if you would like a rundown of the game i would be glad to!
edit: great video btw!
Hi great play through this was a good game story whise it was pretty easy to follow. The only thing that I thought that the developers could have done better was some of the game mechanics other than that not bad for a free game .
I like to think the protagonist could use the shovel in the cellar to break the door down
And idk about u guys but if i saw that in my mum's room I would of swim out of there
I'll grab a snack while watching this 'cause it looks interesting 👀🍕🍦
Lol, *picks up cistern lid and chucks it*
Love your videos Gab! Also your hair looks gorgeous😊
I need a group of gamers to talk me through tricky parts of games! 😂
That was awesome!!
I almost choked on my coffee watching this haha
Its a wood door, just get whatever fuel is down there cloth or whatever burn the door as best as possible and then use the shovel to break it bit by bit and go to the police
impressive seek and find style horror game
Ooh! Spooks time! I love this!
Hello, Gab! Thanks for an interesting and scary video! Does a good ending exist? Maybe you should follow the spirits instructions.
"👩🏻: Who are you?
👼🏻 : Yo mama"

I suspected that it was Swedish when I saw the milk carton, the sweds will get it lol
I knew the mother was bad when I saw it. Why would she buy Arla.
Lol gab you turned the whole house upside down
i kept getting so mad at you for turning off the tv and all the lights then going back to the ouija board and being surprised you couldn’t see anything like GAB. STOP. 😠😭
You actually can see the letters as the glass illuminates them, it's because she dropped the vase on the board that she can't see.
ive discovered your channel while i was searching for a good gameplay of the simulacrum game (i choosed your video btw haha). im really really enjoying your content, hugs from brazil
Warning at 5:10 --- will cause you to die of belly laughing.
On the radio I was hearing "posers that knock" xD
I guess Gab already knows it, but "mor", is Swedish for, "mom" ("moeder", in Dutch, hence why it's obvious to Gab). I know in one update video Gab said her last name and not to try to pronounce it, but as a Swede/Norwegian (grown up in both countries, speak both languages), I find it rather easy to understand most (about... 80%) Dutch. It's kind of a mix between German and English, with a small portion of French. It's Vlaams that I struggle with. :P
Andreas Kristensen is it not mama that means mom in swedish? Or is it both? Just wondering as mor means mom in danish too
@@cielemborg3069 - Eh, it's complicated. Yeah, the Danish word, "moar", is more like the Swedish word, "mamma". The Swedish word, "mor", is more formal. Like "mother".
Andreas Kristensen its actually just mor, i am danish i was curious, i lived in sweden for 2 years and only ever heard mama. The formal way in danish is moder.
@@cielemborg3069 - "Moar, du må være stille, der er fjernsyn for dig!". Yeah, I know. Grammatically correct it's, "mor", though, it's often phonetically written as, "moar". Btw, there's a double m in the Swedish word, "mamma". I would explain that as it being a hard consonant, but, Danish and all... It's complicated. And by that, I mean no ill, it's just... The Danish language has hard consonants, almost always, where as vowels are soft. In Swedish, it's the other way round, unless it's a double consonant. As in "mamma". Which is why Ciel (nice name btw!) is writing it with one m.
Andreas Kristensen ah okay, well usually moar is like “ moar i really want something” like a nickname for moms but yea, and thanks! I really like my name too haha
The language is swedish, "koke dem med hallon, svenska hallon", "cook with raspberries, swedish raspberries"
I don't watch your movie days but I thought of one you may enjoy if you haven't watched it.
"The girl with all the gifts."
Isnt the angel maker a thing you call to those who kill their own babies to have money '-'?
I knew it's a thing before
I dont know what year it is but its very very old '-'
I havent finished watching it yet
I just wanna say this '-'
