Exactly! The other one, Bill Burr and friends that Kill or something like that; being released so close to his actual Special, has confused some people.
Not inconceivable but I don't think there is any systemic conspiracy to keep the games close. The 3-point line has altered the game radically and when teams fall behind they start putting up more 3's and most teams know the value of having some 3-point shooters on their rosters.
Agreed. I do like how the three point line has required players to adapt how they play defensively, for the last 10-15 years defense has been somewhat of an afterthought but today everyone needs to be able to defend
why wouldn't it be rigged? it's entertainment at the end of the day and the more entertaining they think they can make it, the more money they make...people will say it's a business when it comes to the players but they don't use the same logic when it comes to the whole industry in general. it's rigged in an indirect way. Every team should play every other team the same number of times but they don't. Schedule strengths vary wildly which can lead to more wins or more losses. Also back to backs which is an idiotic concept where one team is tired while the other team is fresh. If that fresh team happens to be a good team then it's heavily stacked against you.

I am sure that bill will not agree with this take, but it is true anyway. . . Soccer is the only sport that makes sense in terms of what is a foul. If you kick someone in the legs, but you hit the ball before you hit the legs, then it is also not a foul. . . If you slide into someone from behind and do not hit the ball, then the ref still tries to pretend that the offender had some reason to slide and still does not call it a foul because no body wants to stop the flow of the game. That is soccer. Basketball is nothing but tiny little bitches tripping over their own feet trying to cry about who gets this or that point for the last third of every basketball game. Stop criticizing soccer for flopping. Basketball is nothing but flopping. At least the rules of soccer make sense. Basketball fans do not even understand the rules.
