And he takes clips from many different aspects NBA guys, overseas guys, pro am guys, even the UA-cam pick up guys really shows you can learn something from just about any player at any level
I’ve watched your videos for at least a year now and it’s crazy how helpful this is. I went from dropping the ball every possession to being the winning factor of games. No one can explain the complexity of moves like you do. Thanks
bruv please never stop making vids, i been using randomly counter moves and all that but never really understood what counters what, and there you go again, and make another banger video to explain. Your work is amazing, u teach so many good stuff, usefull stuff, pls keep up the good work, love to see it.
Yo Coach Frikki, I just wanted to say thank you for all the work you are doing. I really think you've understood what works to teach people basketball : going straight to the point, giving a lot of examples, explaining the details... You've understand it all. Your provide extrem quality videos that are so helpful for ballers that want to improve themselves. You deserve more credit man, i really mean it. Thank you for all.
GREAT! One of my favorites so far. This gives material for improving 1on1 for months. I would love to see dribble and drive moves that can be used in transition. Thanks!
You don’t understand how useful this is giving us the movies and counters I’d rather have these vids then paying for trainers. Also if anyone is reading this make you add your own swag to your movements.
I needed this bad, was playing 1v1s today and I learned that I really needed to add counters to my bag, perfect timing on this video, thanks Coach Frikki
Thanks for the vid coach! Would love to see a video about avoiding turnovers everywhere (e.g. how to stop getting the ball stolen or how to stop getting blocked)
Love you man! Best video ive ever seen on counters. I am beginner and i was so confused about what to do when the defense cuts of the new move that i learnt! Now i know....thank youuu
A video about Ranking shooting options, like corner 3, Catch and shoot, Fade away, free throws, Side step, step back and etc. As you made for post players and slasher ❤
I can't lie I needed this since my reads when it comes to the defender is bad since I would use a move that doesn't work in that scenario. With these counters I can becomes even better than before when it comes to reads, thanks COACH FRIKKI
This gotta be the most helpful videos on UA-cam. Thank you for help, going into 9th grade hoops at school and gotta make it right Edit: I made the team 🫡
thank you for another great video coach! these help me immensely & i also like the frequent uploads recently could you explain the difference between jab&cross and jab&go? like what are the pros and cons of using each one. i dont understand the difference
Had to learn this the hard way especially against tight defense. My only counter moves were snatchback but then id always risk getting stripped and stepback which is not a bad counter but gets blocked by taller defenders. I think the best counter moves are: A hesi with sidestep counter against tall defenders. A side hesi with misdirection counter and A pound dribble with sidestep counter Sone defenders you gotta make contact first. Overall i learned that you can't always try to fight through contact.
Btb might be thebmost optimal in terms ofball security and the option to push off slightly, making harder for defender to recover. Its often the option kyrie uses
Coach Frikki, I love your videos. Can you please make a video about correctly positioning yourself for rebounding? And using Rodman as an example? I remember he has several techniques for creating space and where he stands in the paint to rebound. Thanks a lot!
Are counter moves used as a reaction for how the defender tries to defend or are we supposed to mentally prepare to use the counter right after we use the setup move. Or is it a mix of both?
as someone who plays for fun theres little value for me practicing this long list of moves that ill probably never use right? i have a feeling the audience for these videos are young basketballers who are playing in hs or aau
its just a read and react moves for 1 on 1. Its for those that play against good defenders if you don't see any of them or play no defense you won't use it.
What videos would you like to see next?
How to play/guard bigger players
@@iong3878 I need that
Tough shot making/summer training drills
Shooting
How to defend against drives/ block layups
I just like how you use a variety of clips to consciously implant the idea that anyone can do this
And he takes clips from many different aspects NBA guys, overseas guys, pro am guys, even the UA-cam pick up guys really shows you can learn something from just about any player at any level
Even had Bernie Sanders

Best basketball channel out there
I can't lie I needed this since my reads when it comes to the defender is bad since I would use a move that doesn't work in that scenario. With these counters I can becomes even better than before when it comes to reads, thanks COACH FRIKKI

Coach, when do I use these counters?
Are counter moves used as a reaction for how the defender tries to defend or are we supposed to mentally prepare to use the counter right after we use the setup move. Or is it a mix of both?
Once you do it enough it becomes second nature and you do it automatically
Mix of both! It's a spectrum depending on how early you decide to counter.
Beat always be hitting haha
Coach freaky
Lamelo rocked drew holiday so bad 😂😂
Coach frikki you a filipino???
I am 1/3 Filipino so yes.
@@CoachFrikki thought it was 1/256 lol that's why you also use filipino highlights, particularly pba.

I think most players no matter the level would find it both fun and beneficial to add a few of those counters to their game.
Avatar last airbender music❤❤❤❤
