    Nice. I'm using Everybot RS700. It rotates two round microfiber pads to clean floors and windows (you can hold it up). The microfiber pads are attached to two small water tanks above it. Runs for over 1 hour. I use a bit of MrMuscle, no problems. Only problem is its not a smart navigation but has multiple preset patterns you can select via a remote. It's definitely better than my old braava 380t. Try it and see if its as good as the Braava and iLife.

    The Braava M6 may be better at cleaning a small area, but if cleaning a large room, it's essentially dragging that soiled cloth across the entire room unless you keep washing or changing that pad. Ouch! The W400/W450 has an advantage when mopping large area in that the dirty water is sucked up and emptied into the built-in tank.

    At the moment I go with the iLife w400 $199 vs $399.00 that cost the M6 to have similar results.

    Hey so basically the w400 will win if i do manually a second pass😀 plus its cheaper and also its way better at liquids..but for some reason my brain keep telling that moving a wet pad all around my floors won't clean as well as the w400 washing roller system what do you think?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  5 років тому +2

      Daniel you have a point, moving a wet dirty pad around probably isn't the most sanitary. Picture how most people mop manually. They drop a clean mop in a bucket of cleaning solution, than rinse out the excessive liquid, mop a few square feet until dirty, clean the dirty mop and repeat. So basically the Braava m6 can do everything except clean its mopping pad or vacuum up the excessive dirty water. The w400 is an excellent Mopping robot minus the self charging and being able to select certain areas.

    • @danielsv17
      @danielsv17 5 років тому +2

      @@RobotMasters so right!! I will call the best mop robot when it did all the w400 does plus laser radar maping .plus self charging station and selft cleaning with tanks with clean water and solution bottle adapter or something and a tank for dirty water.
      I will call that the best mop robot where it basically does everything just like this new robot on kicks starter call (NARWAL) do you know it?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  2 роки тому

      Well the Braava Jet m6 did better on tougher stains that dried up, where as the iLife w240 does better with small liquid spills. I found the m6 to be easier to clean.

  • @destruxandexploze2552
    @destruxandexploze2552 3 роки тому +1

    Reason I got a w400
    I have a lot of pets and sometimes they pee on the floor (territorial cats) and if the M6 goes through it, it’s just going to spread it all over the house while the w400 would actually scrub it up and suck it up.
    One pushes dirt around and gets it stuck in the mop.
    One picks up all the dirt and scrubs the floor.
    Key and point:
    W400 4:34
    M6 5:27

    Great video. I am curious if you have a pet like a dog or cat and it has a bathroom accident, and you are away from home but have the robot s9 and m6 clean how would it handle the mess? Would it make a bigger mess? Not sure if you can really test this, but if you figure it out then that would be a great video. Again using vacuum robots and mopping robots.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  5 років тому +1

      Hugo good question, unfortunately these robots can't handle poop or urine, they will spread the feces around, there a couple of youtube videos of people coming home to poop spread everywhere from the roomba. If you do have pets try to contain the pet or the robot to one area to avoid the disaster.

    Another informative video Robot Masters! I've been using my W400 the past couple of days and I must say it cleans quite well. There have been a couple of times it cleans the same place back and forth for a few minutes before moving on. I am a bit disappointed that it won't just continue cleaning the house floors without stopping (until water runs out) like a robot vacuum does. Seems like it's programmed for a particular area of space even on the large room mode and stops when that cycle is complete. Have you found any workarounds for this? Thanks again!

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  5 років тому +1

      Huh, must have a really large open area, are you using Area mode, I believe the Path mode only covers 25 sq/m. Also the Robot will stop in the other mode to allow you to clean the mopping pad, this is a feature iLife implemented to avoid the brush roll to get too dirty and start spread dirt around.
      I will look for a work around l 😆

      Ok, try starting the robot from the bottom left or right corner of the area, see if it can cover the entire area in one go. Should be able to keep going until the water or battery runs out.

    • @RobotMasters

      I probably should have, I just pushed the clean cycle on both the robots and let them do their cleaning cycle. Probably would of clean better if the w400 had multiple passes like the m6 did. Usually the w400 will only do one pass.

    *I run the m6 daily, and my floors look awesome🌼 **allabout.wiki/ILIFE-Robotic** I wet mop 2 days and dry sweep the rest of the days. When I first got it, I used the included disposable pads. I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*
