Good show, I like how you do the pairing with the beer and the motorcycles! Actually had one of those beers yesterday and it was pretty darn good...

Hell yeah, brother. Just picked up a '93 R100GS. Not too many of us in our 20s and 30s riding these bikes (cost of entry and parts is extremely prohibitive unfortunately), so good to see some proper UA-cam representation of the classics. Also here's another shoutout to the Airheads Beemer Club, join if you ride!

I sold my TurdWagon 200 a few years ago in order to buy an r75/5. If they're cheaper than 13 horsepower Yamaha donkey, the cost can't be too prohibitive.

He's lucky to have found a mentor like Joe. I'm always on the look out for vintage motorcycle guys in my area that I can learn from.

Searched quite a bit to try to figure out what cameras Joe has in the photo 2:23. Cool that he also appreciated those.

Well I figured this could be a good opportunity to bust Scotties Chops and went to the Google machine for the fork comment. Well dammit, he was spot on! BMW was the first with the hydraulic dampened telescopic fork in 1935 . Fact check confirmed lol!🤣

Fantastic episode. I wonder if the BMW factory has a favorite local beer the workers drink?

Great episode again, thanks. That is a beauty, and even better that he rides the wheels off it. Sounds great too👍

So glad you enjoyed it! I love that he's put so much time and mileage on it too - That's what it's all about!

The pipes are the old school BMW fishtail models from the original R5 Roadster which the R18 is based on and now comes with.
