One of the reasons this is my all around go to AT tire for the FJ Cruiser. I live in a tropical island where I frequently have to deal with mud even on highways due to heavy rainfall and the Yokohama is the only MT I can trust on or off road when the need arises.
every mud terrain will be louder than any other at or ht but these are surprisingly not so bad. expect some slight improvement as the tire track settles
Not with our lift. We are running only +35mm from bilstein and for this lift its not required any lowering. Check out 4x4Proyect.com for more info on the suspension
There are calculators online that let you know the corrected speed charts. The difference is around +5kph at 110kpm. To be honest as long as you respect the actual speed limit which is what we do you wont have any trouble because every speed radar accounts for a 10% error. Therefore we have not recalibrated but never ever had an issue
Good to see you again guys, does these tires rub on full lock and under flex? I believe they would, i am running on 215/70/16 and thinking of upgrading to the size that you have but i am sceptical about the clearance. I have modified the inner side of the fender but i dont know about turning and offroad flexing. We still waiting for the roof rack news :D
They do rub a little bit yes but nothing that hinders their performance.. if youre ok with a little bit of rubbing under flex its a great tire size for their capacity for airing down and larger footprint 💪🏽
Glad you guys are back! I hope this year the plan goes well. I'm in the process of selecting some "light" AT tires. Do you have any opinion about the Yokohama Geolander AT G015. They are going to equip a Nissan Qashqai 4x4, which is also my daily.
I had geolandar at on my duster. Like it very much. Quiet onroad and enough grip light offroad. Good tyre to overlanders and if you drive more on than offroad
I have had the GO15 and for a 70/30 on road of road they are good. Not so good is the gas mileage where I have seen the the biggest drop of fuel economy for and AT tyre….nearly as bad as MT - I lost 3mpg for my Hilux over the Maxxis Wormdrive (my favourite 50/50 AT).
I would go for AT for mild offroad. It will definitely make a difference for the ability to air down a bit, traction and durability! Just keep in mind it will never come close to 4wd
Hi! Quick question ... does 225 75 r16 fit on a Duster with stock suspension? I know I would have to flatten that metal between the tire and the pedals, but other than that, will I be able to fit them on a stock suspension?
Hello my friend ! On my duster with 6cm suspension, model 2014 diesel . Can I put this tires 225/75/16 or I have problem ? My duster it’s 110hp is it too much for this model ? I pull the boat out of the sand

Ive never seen this rig before! Nice looking rig with those tires...👍🏼
Thanks man!

We’ve had ours for about 10 months now and can surely attest to that! Cheers
Finally a new video/episode. Thanks
thank you bro i was searching my duster too for more wider tire
No problem 👍
I just installed my Yahakoma geolander g003 today in my RAV4 I like the aggressive look but i am getting a lot of noise from my tires on freeway

Acompanhar o projeto sem dúvida, ver o que poderei fazer também ao meu futuro Duster. ✌
Obrigado pelo apoio!
but when you raised the car, did you have to lower the engine to avoid damaging the transmission?

Still waiting to get that roofrack =P
Me too!
super video!
How do you get your speedometer to measure the correct speed with the larger tyre size.
Do you have to recalibrate the speedo?

Are you still running the +2.5cm eibach springs with those MTs
We are yes. They rub a bit with flex though so probably will look at something to lift it up a bit more
Glad you guys are back! I hope this year the plan goes well.

We don't have a personal opinion but we have a friend with a set on a Nissan Terrano and loves them. Great on every surface for mild offroading!

Nice tyres..do you think a front wheel drive Duster will handle some light off road with tyres like these fitted...? Cheers Steve

We already have a video about that. Check "Best Modified Dacia Duster on the Planet" and EP.1 of the Trans-Pyrenees Expedition
How is the ride with them, does it ride more stiff?
Tires don’t seem to affect the stiffness of the ride.. noise and other considerations are present but as far as stiffness we haven’t noticed anything
