- Hi guys, i know, i released this video a bit late, but with the university it is very hard to make videos, soon i'll make video of my new V6 engine (spoiler :D).

I've never seen an engine run on air only before -_- What's the point of making a piston engine if you don't run it on fuel but just propel the cylinder with pressurized air?

Because of the title, people are attracted to it and want to see how somebody made a single cilinder engine. Exept he didn't make a one cilinder engine, but a one cilinder engine model. Jens Hendriks Actually its not clickbait, you're just dumb. It actually is a one cylinder engine. An engine that runs on any pressurised gas is a pneumatic engine. It is an engine. This is not clickbait.
Roarore88 But it's useless. An engine converts chemical energy into kinetic energy. In this case you put kinetic energy in. Also, your output of kinetic energy is lower than the input. This is the most useless thing I've ever seen
Jens Hendriks Its not useless. Pnuematic engines have been successful in the hand-tool industry. They are also used in industrial applications. They also actually have been used for transportation. A plane in 1879 was powered by a pneumatic engine. So was a submarine not too long after that.
