I honestly like the stars uniform more, Neo look is fine but I like it without the jacket on.
It's not because of the matrix, it's because he looks cool. Yeah, his look is probably based off the matrix, and the matrix is definitely what popularlized the look, but it's not like the movie necessarily has anything to do with people liking him or his design. If the matrix never came out and he still had this design, he'd still be cool as hell. It's just a really cool design. That's what I think, at least. Also, he has a super cool voice and dialogue, which definately contributes to people liking him a heck of a lot too.

I think that Wesker is a bad ass but also his backround is kind of sad if you consider that a lot of his ideas about a super human race are only the result of brainwashing as a child. Can they even blame Wesker for what he did because of that?

I think his story is sad too, and makes it easy to feel compassion for him. His creators did a good job that way. But I always hoped his story would end on a happy note for him, that he would be redeemed somehow. Sadly, they just gave him a generic "bad guy gets blown away" ending☹

I studied philosophy and so I notice that Capcom was influenced by Nietzsche when creating Wesker and his plans in re5/Wesker project. Wesker might be my favourite villain in gaming history! He’s so baddas and cool at the same time. He’s the ideal villain, a total slime Ball and manipulates everyone to get to his goal. He was well made and well voiced by different people. It’s a shame he had to die in resi 5 but he went in a blaze of glory.
