- Hey hey! I hope all of you are doing okay. Today we have this cool chromatic thumb piano that has been designed and hand-Crafted right at home by Marie-Agne Tierce, the owner Poopoopidoo Kalimba which, to parents and guardians out there, is also an Eco-friendly diaper creator. how cool is that!
This has got to be one of the kalimbas in my collection that is worth keeping.

Tuning this Kalimba is definitely going to be a chore but it sounds and looks amazing.. also, I love cucumber scent so that's another plus for me.

Hi, if I can ask off-topic, do you have or will have a video wherein you're going to DIY a flat board with kalimba parts? Maybe you can teach us the distance of the wooden bars at the back and others that needed some attention to be able to make a good tuned personalized Kalimba? I'm a visual artist and have an irregular flat board that I don't know if it's ok to buy Kalimba parts and just put them there... your thoughts?

Hi. Are there kalimbas that are easy and soft to touch? I bought one yesterday but it hurts when I slide through 3 keys. It doesn't create a good sound.
So I have a kalimba problem where it sounds like it was like a cow bell went "bwah bwah" kind of like all of these combined but the most that it is showing is dead tines but oddly I really don't want to get a new kalimba because every other note seems fine its just the F°° and C°° and A° And B° And the D°° that sound a little weird every other key sounds perfect, Btw my Kalimba is a 17 key it is wooden and has 2 small holes in the back and 1 big hole in the center of it. Do you happen to know of any way to help this situation?

I've never had a Chromatic Kalimba... what tuning would you recommend? They state Full Croma, Croma+ or Non-Redundant? Suggestions would be super welcome.

Yes I do ship worldwide.
For beginners in chromatic I suggest the full or chroma+
Personnnally i prefer the chroma+ since you get go as high as 5••
Chroma+ and full are really similar, just 1 note of difference.
Those two are usable by kalimba beginners
The non redundant is the most complete tuning that allow a lot more of possibilities but it’s harder to use so it’s suggested for medium to advanced players those are the rarest ones since the tuning is the hardest to obtain. Wood is a capricious material.

Silly beginner question here but if the notes aren't engraved, is there at least a chart showing which they are for tuning purposes? in other words, how do you tune this thing? lol

Hahahaha that's so cute. I think the manufacturer of the kalimba you will purchase would include a booklet for the chart. But if you still need help, let me know :)
