2:06 It's not faster to switch to your knife or pistol (you said rifle, I'm guessing a typo). It takes the exact same time to shot after that either switching or just wait (reloading works the same). Switching to your knife is a good way to get out of zooming and thus getting faster movement speed. So you can fire a bullet fast switch and then disappear behind a wall or obstacle faster.

Quick switch avoids double scoping if you want to reset the scope too, it doesn't make sound either.... It doesn't matter if you took a shot or not... You can also make your quick switch hotkey stay on your knife as long as you hold it, so you hold the button, reposition, release the button and it will switch back to your scoped weapon without being zoomed in ..
Awping is not only hitting ur shots. Ur teammates have to be able to flash for you, bait, cover other angles ur exposed to, etc. That's why csgo is a team game
and that's why I rarely take the awp in soloQ...

I play on a 13 inch monitor so the zoom of an awp really helps. So I normally play awp as often as possible(unless ofc team is saving)
Yes, and the thing is, that's the same thing in reality, as a sniper you gotta have cover and wait for enemy and be patient, you're team gotta help you not to get backstabbed or get killed from other angle. Without it, unless you're really far away behind some great cover you're dead, and won't be able to do much

I love to AWP in general on Vertigo, love the map for the variety and unexpected plays that can be made(or sometimes make you get a heart attack when enemy surprises you, some round where you don’t hear any footsteps, just the surrounding area are scary)

Device isn’t passive he’s a very active awper yes he doesn’t take insane risks but he’s always mobile he goes for openers and plays loads of weird angles a passive awper would be an anchor who locks down a site and stays fairly static
For the Question of the Day, I would say Nuke and Overpass Tied, and I mean most of Nuke/Overpass too. Due to how quickly you can rotate and change position, the long angles that can be held and the variety of angles. I feel a position has to be accompanied by other locations so if I have to pick one, then I will say Overpass at Mid/Party. The amount of great fallback locations is fantastic. This also requires a competent array of teammates but don't they all. I recognize Train is great too but my lack of game time on it hinders my choice.

Quick tip if you want to ALWAYS top frag as awper just awp on catwalk and b tunnels on dust. Just keep switching between the positions

after avoiding the awp for almost my entire csgo-playtime i finally gave it a shot in january 2023.. at first it was quite the change from the scout but what can i say.. within like 50 games i managed to do almost 400 kills with my awp (duoQ) and i keep getting better at it :D
sometimes i even win 1v3 or 1v4 clutches now which is such a nice feeling man

For some reason , I am really good at AWP(as per me) and trashcan with AK or M4 . I can sometimes flick and get impossible(for me) shots and not hit the easy ones ! AWP is extremly fun once you know how to use it properly and GOOD. Good vid .

No scoping is so underrated, you have a better chance no scope flicking than trying to flick yourself only close range ofcourse
Unless you have high sensitivity and you can flick large distances somewhat accurately, otherwise just noscope

Coz they have stable 200+ Fps, a 240hz monitor, very less packet loss, a 1-2ms of ping due to the best internet

In my opinion you should never try to awp like KennyS. Not because he isn't a great awper but bc his playstyle purely works because of his aim. Device is the player that every awper (at a high level) should try to play similar to.
You should watch 'The only guide you'll need to lower the music of the video so that the viewer can hear you' video.
