I allow myself to cheat under the following conditions:
* Single player
* Already completed at least once.
I got a funny recent one. In the Pro Tour my opponent broke not only the rules but exploited a character skin & stage. i was playing as Ed & instead of being Balrog like she was supposed to picked blkanka & picked the color that camoflauged into the grid stage.
Ive said for years that stage needs to be 100% tournament banned & nobody listens BUT the beach stage is banned because a characters taunt cant be seen under the shore.

If you wanted to be extra hard on yourself you could do:
*Completed on at least normal
*Collected most if not all collectables, health/weapon upgrades, etc.

The sad part is there is some of us that don't need cheats to be good at all games, just don't care about letting others know how efficient i am at gaming.
I'm with the Zenith Esports Rainbow Six: Siege team, and I didn't even know about ElmZero, until just now. It just goes to show; if you want to make a name for yourself, cheating is the fastest way to be forgotten.

On the flip side.. I haven't heard of any of these people, but I did just hear about the people that cheated. So, it appears that the only way someone would possibly care that you play a video game (that's over the age of 12 and/or doesn't live in mommy's basement) is if you cheat and get humiliated.

When there’s like 3 characters with built in aimbot
People even cheats in Fall Guys...
Because those characters that have aimbot (only soldiers ult) or beams can't use them well. Aimbot on something like mccree or widow is broken.

@@noelleholiday61 obviously it's not the same. you only have ult for a fraction of the time in the game. McCree's ult makes him stand still and takes a timer to use effectively, Soldier's ult doesn't do headshots, Moira has aimbot but barely gives any damage per sec compared to cree, ashe, widow, tracer, etc while simultaneously needing to heal her team. Overwatch heroes with aimbot are given aimbot and penalized in other areas to even it out. I'm surprised this is even needing an explanation...

This is late but most actually working cheats do require payment to even get. Be it a one time purchase or a subscription. The only cheats that are generally free, are the ones that are easily caught. Lol

I would say there is definitely a moral line there though, and it’s not surprising the developer wasn’t comfortable crossing it. It was probably a hobby or something they did for fun, not something much more legally criminal.

A great video idea would be when developers would mess with people in their games or cheat. I know its happened cuz i was in a match with a member of blizzard in overwatch and they would just shoot through walls, use 3 ults in one and do tons of crazy stuff. It was fun but was also annoying.
The methods the pros use to avoid cheat detection is what sets them apart from top 10 and busted.

Love your content. Let me just say I appreciate you guys. Growing up I loved video games but I kinda lost that as I grew up. You guys have rekindled the passion I used to have and I’ve been gaming a little more often than I have in recent years. It’s not that I didn’t play games just didn’t play them near as often. I’ve been playing the Batman Arkham series recently because I never had that chance when it first came out when I was a kid and it’s top notch. Thanks Gameranx, and specifically Falcon for reinvigorating my interest in games.

So I’m pretty sure most streamers that cheat have overlays so you can’t see the cheats, and so when they “show their cheats” it’s that the overlay stopped working and they didn’t notice
in many cases: The actual interface part of the cheat is meant to be it's own overlay, so you can see that, while streaming the game "normally" with OBS or the like.
However, if you're not careful.....
Why would'nt just have the cheat overlay on a second display? Like are they that stupid?

The best one I ever saw, was for Battlefield 2. One of the Australian forums for the game had a place for screenshots for sharing moments, etc. And this guy excitedly posts this screenshot of him getting something, I think it was a medal or achievement.
Problem was all the bright green enemies on his screen, showing up through walls.
yeah, we got a guy banned from No Man's Sky because he was arguing that you can play the game in "offline" mode (no such thing) and proceeded to upload a video where he basically connected to Steam (online of course), then to the NMS servers (online of course) THEN disabled his internet. The problem was... the video showed him with billions of all types of in-game currency, lol. Of course we forwarded it to NMS and harassed him in the forums... unceasingly. Until his account was disabled.

11:45 Turned out the Cheat developer tried to charge him the winnings which after agreeing to it, the guy lied to him, which case the "investigation" stopped when they realized that and instead of any actions past that were silenced.

I was half expecting the BSK sweats guys like Lumi and Sonic to show on this list. They allied with a hacker group to DOS other players and streamers for seemingly no reason. Sad thing is they were actually really good at the game they didn't need to DOS they just did it because they're assholes

"Chinese Taipei" Taiwan and China are two different countries.
To Mainland China (CCP), they consider Taiwan a part of China...
Funny thing, the best chance to see how old China was, is actually to go to Taiwan.
Because during Mao, during the great leap forward (which to several is "the great leap backwards"), they destroyed everything old, like old temples, statues etc, while a lot of people fled to what is now Taiwan.
They write Chinese and talk certain dialect(s) of Chinese in Taiwan, but they want to be and is considered a sovereign nation to most of the world, and should be that.
But considering mainland China just fucking walked over Hong Kong recently, in that they straight out violated treaties and agreements; are they stupid enough to try anything with Taiwan? I hope the fuck not!
They probably said "Chinese Taipei" because mainland Chinese make a hell of a lot more fuss about it being just Taipei or "Taipei in Taiwan" or similar; than people from Taiwan would make against it being referenced to as "Chinese Taipei"... The mainland Chinese that does this, is often "Wu Mao" (google it), so it gives an indication on how China is a bully, and cries foul etc and whines when caught... It can perhaps hugely impact how much this video trends, because they report it and/or how Google is actually sucking up to mainland China, which Google are not alone in doing...
It is CCP's fault (the government in mainland China), and not the people in mainland China. There is a huge difference between those two, and tourists from mainland China is not representative of how people in mainland China is either, because of several reasons.
