    I own a F12 after getting hit by a car. Insurance paid for most of it. Pinarello was my dream bike. I’m 62 and don’t ride as fast or a long as I used to, but riding that bike is so nice. If you can afford it, go for it. Life is short.

    I'm riding the largest size F5 and I feel like it could definitely be stiffer laterally. There is some instability in the bigger sizes where the top tube meets the head tube. And then there's the weight.... Kind of a drag, especially when accelerating and climbing.

    • @approvedcycling
      @approvedcycling  Рік тому +1

      Hi, we tested the bike in size 54,5 although we also think its heavy when we climbed up the hill we didn't notice that "drag" or usuly feels like you are draging someone on the climb with you. So we were happy with the bike. Regarding the stifness, similar to the weight. It could be stiffer but it descended better than 90% of other bikes that we ride.Right now we are testing the Colnago V4RS and would choose F5 any day for descends and high speeds. If you are taller and also above 100kg then I think it would be hard to find a bike that is really stiff. If you found it please share it here. Thank you for your comment

    How's the Dogma F in a long ride? is it comfortable? I currently have Cervelo Caledonia 5 equip with SRAM red axs and zipp 353 NSW. i'm Thinking of doing an upgrade and the dogma F is one of the contender. i am an average rider from time to time i do a century ride, but on a weekend i normally do at least 50 mile ride.

    • @approvedcycling
      @approvedcycling  Рік тому +1

      We haven't ridden any Cervelos yet so it hard to give you the right comparison...In general the Dogma F is a race bike which should be a stiff bike. Sure you can make it more comfortable with the right tire choice and wheelset choice. But in general if you want a comfortable bike choose something like the X3 or Crossista F9...or BMC RoadMAchine was an excellent bike which we rode as well. Hope it helps :)

      Hi, thank you. I am 180cm and I use 54,5 with 12cm stem but I think I will change to 11cm. With zero seatback seatpost 12cm would be perfect for me.

      @@approvedcycling thats interesting! I know it also depends on body proportion but i went with a size 56 and im also 1.80. I have the bike for almost a month, loving it very much! I guess downsizing adds more aggressive posture, i was actually in between sizes 54/56.

    • @approvedcycling
      @approvedcycling  Рік тому +1

      @@victorgorbinallerena3327 yes you are correct it depends on the riding style, proportions but in all honesty up to 183-184 cm we would always suggest a 54,5cm size , except if the rider wats a really comfortable position then 56cm.

    I currently own Giant TCR Advanced Pro, is it a good idea to upgrade F5? what are your thoughts? Between Giant Propel (SRAM Rival electronic groupset/Carbon Wheels) vs Pinarello F5, which is a better pick?

    • @approvedcycling
      @approvedcycling  Рік тому +1

      IMO they don't look the best that's why we never really bought it and tested it. My answer would be F5 just cuz of the looks and since you want to change the bike to Pinarello I think you might agree?

    Im thinking of buying this bike , is the extra money worth it to get the Dogma or the F9 or F7 good enough.

    • @approvedcycling
      @approvedcycling  5 місяців тому +1

      I would say it is a very small difference. Dogma F it is a better bike but it is also a status simbol. So if you buy the F5 you will be happy. But get a better set of wheels when you buy it since a nice pair of wheels will make all the difference how the bike rides. That being said. each bike offers a step up in riding quality it depends on you what kind of rider are you and what do you wish to get from the bike.

    Anže na Dogmo F12 je možno dat 32mm plašče?

    • @approvedcycling
      @approvedcycling  6 місяців тому +1

      Živjo, odvisno bo od obročev. Ampak jih nebi dal gor ker mislim, da ne priporočajo plaščev širših od 700x28. Sedaj, če imajo obroči notranji rob 18, 17mm širok potem bi mogoče šlo, nisem pa še sprobal. Se pa na žalost ne bo poznalo če se da na obroče 18-17. Tako, da max kar bi svetoval je 28. na hook to hook 21mm širokih obročih.
