In larger sizes, pay attention to lateral stiffness when testing. Mine shows some wobble at the top tube/head tube, and could be stiffer. Also, because of the weight, acceleration isn't super great and climbing is affected. And all that for $6000, which leaves me disappointed in mine.
Thank you for the comment again, I responded in post on a different video. I think 6000,00$ with the basic wheels is a shame for this bike but we tested it with PCW WAke Tactic hubs and it was a different story to what your experience was.
I just bought this bike for my wife. it is a little heavier than I would like. Do you have any suggestions on any decent budget wheels
Sure, but tell us first what are a budget wheels for you? What is the price range?
@approvedcycling For her Pinarello. Between 700/1k
@@baltimorejae7397 if you want light wheels go with Elite Drive. If you want a wheel for triathlon etc. Fulcrum Wind are a good choice as well.
Hi again! And i ended up getting the dogma F and its a COMPLETELY different experience. Riding both the F5 and Dogma, made me do some upgrades to my F5 for example the handlebar carbon one piece is really comfortable and makes a huge difference, plus also saving some weight 😂 great video by the way! Makes me still love my F5 even though my black-on-black dogma is siiiick! 😎
Hi Victor TY for your comment. What would you say is the biggest difference between the Dogma F and the F5? You have an amazing pair of bikes! Which wheels do you run on them?
@@approvedcycling I would say power transfer is a big difference you can feel how fast it can accelerate I'm sure the stiffness plays a key role here, but in speed, it's hard to tell unless there is some cornering. For now, I run Ultegra C50 in the Dogma and Fulcrum Racing 800 DB in the F5 (which came with that, they are terribly heavy), a huge difference I know. The F5 is getting the Most Ultrafast 40 next week so it will be around 0.5Kg lighter than with the one-piece carbon handlebar and other tires etc...im expecting to be around 1kg less. The Dogma will get the Fulcrum Speed 57 in a couple of weeks, let's see how it goes!
@@victorgorbina6623 Thanks for your feedback! Those wheels are some great upgrades. I rode most of the Fulcrum High End wheels and they are superb! The R800 ugh, the change will be amazing. Let us know how they ride once you upgrade them I would imagine it would feel like riding on a new bike :)
@@approvedcycling For sure! those R800 are like bricks also the Pinarello F1 tires that I had, because I try those rims with the Vittoria and I could feel faster and then with the continental 5000 crazy fast, can't imagine how it will be with carbon wheels. I will post my feedback once I have both bikes with their upgrade ;) have a nice day! and keep up posting cool videos!
What do you think about the F5 on climbing ? Does it climb like a pig or is actually good ?
I would say, it depends on what kind of wheels you have on the bike. We rode it only with PCW Wake 6560 Stradas with Tactic hubs and it felt really good. I thought it was going to be bad AF, but it wasn't...We will be dropping the final verdict of the bike next week...
What is the price on this bike? Is it the cheaper version? Or is a model below with 105 di2 and alloy wheels?
Sorry we missed this comment. We sold it for around 10k€. The full price would be around 13k€-14k€. Yes the OEM builds come with 105 as well as Ultegra groupsets
It’s currently on sale for. 3900USD. I would still prefer Cannondale supersix evo. IMO better wheels.
how much weight this bike are think its heavy?
The bike weight was 8,15kg. For the price far from light. But it depends for what kind of rider the bike is for. I would not recommend it for a climber. For someone that would like to go fast it is a very good bike. But again for the price you probably could find a better value for money. But we do not buy this brands for value for money :)
What saddle is that?
