Wouldn't be worried about a small bit of rust on the car considering how long it's been sitting up, it's the parts that aren't showing rust I'd be looking more closely at 😂

Right, a couple of things here. You're better off cleaning the corrosion back with a poly wheel. Then clean with Bilt Hamber Surfex HD to degrease, then coat with Hydrate 80 to convert the remaining corrosion.
Then you can either paint over, or cover with Dynax UB.
Please do not use rubberised underseal. It's garbage and traps moisture which leads to even more corrosion.
Box sections you can fill with Dynax S50.
Another amazing product you can use us Lanoguard.
How do I know all this? I did a restoration on my Integra DC2-R and hours of research led me to the products above.
I used the Bilt Hamber products initially, but now I use the Lanoguard annually to keep the anti corrosion topped up as it's SO EASY to use.

Wow, that's great information thanks alot. As you can see i am not a painter or a even a mechanic but i just try to fix or do what i can to keep it going. I have already used the rubberised encapsulator on the rear of the car a few years back but I've never checked on it since. I looked in to protecting the car before and the Eastwood stuff was one of the best especially the rubberised encapsulator, but i have to admit i thought the same about trapping the monster. Thanks again for your help, i will look into it and try to sort it out but for now i will finish the rest with the hammerite just until i get some better weather to get at it correctly. I was thinking of using some filler on the pot marked area's too.

Yeah, no worries mate. Just don't want you making it worse. There's far better products out there now than what there used to be.
Have a watch of some of the Lanoguard videos and see how easy it is to apply on the underside and box sections to help keep corrosion at bay

Thats why I don't bother with dress-up hardware haha. Get yourself some zinc bolts.
