Watching this was so satisfying. You make amazing videos. If you don’t realize it, you inspire a lot of us to start or continue this great hobby. Thanks again for taking the time to do these types of videos.
Stunning ,very nice tank, Dutch is my favorite but I can't get the plants as bushy on the bottom, I know replant the cuttings but than still a lot of bare stem on the bottom. Do you have an idea for me to do better? Great tank but if I do such a trimming its total loss. Thanks for sharing.from a Dutch guy.
Fantastic video mate, really inspiring. I have a question if you don't mind, how did you get your pogostemon helferi to grow vertically? Is there a rock behind it or it naturally grows upwards like that. (I've never owned that plant before). Thanks heaps =)
Sir what's your experience with trimming stem plants like rotala? Once you have desired density and height do you trim at the same height each time? Or do you trim seven times and then trim all the way to the ground and replant? I wonder if I can trim "infinitely" at the very tips of the plants. So far I have been trimming and replanting what I trimmed but I actually have reached enough density that I can't replant cuttings anymore. But if a trimmed plant gets cut, it releases two stems. Then four and so on. But if I trim at the same height each time I will infinitely trim at the "two-bud". Will the plant regrow just tip to be two again or will it stop growing and I will have to cut all the way down anyways? I can't explain what I mean properly, I hope you understand my question. Let's say I have 10 stem plants in a new tank. My goal is having 20 stems. First trimming will give me +10 that I will replant. Then I will end up with 10 stems with double buds and 10 new stems. A total of 30. Can I infinitely cut 30 plants at the same level to have 30 buds all the time or will I end up with deformed or stunted plants?
Great video! Just have some questions: What size is your tank? What fish do you have stocked? If you weren't dosing CO2 do you think the tank would still grow as lush?
Great videos and even better tanks. I hope one day mine gets so clean and beautyfull. Some questions. You use Tropica fertilicers as myself. You use only the brown one? Dont you lack N and P? You dose it only once a week after the waterchange? I space it myself and maybe is a mistake. Do you dose anything more? Thanks
Wow, mesmerising. Thanks for the excellent content you share. Two quick questions. Are you using RO water and at what temperature do you keep the tank?
Bonjour, Juste magnifique qu'elle est la taille de l'aquarium ainsi qu'elle est la rampe d'éclairage et le temps d'éclairage. Merci pour votre réponse.
How do you get good growth like that when lower parts of the background stem plants leaves are covered by the midground plants? Is it strong lighting? It's so dense and even the stem plants are covering each other near the top
@@Tropictank so, your eyes and experience does it for you than checking water parameters, I guess. Great tanks you got there and skilfully made videos. Regards from Germany.
hi Erkut, I've had a really nice and red Rotala VietNam H'ra bunch; however, after 4-6 weeks they slowly turned into green or light red color. I didn't use CO2 and the light is not very strong. Can you please give me some suggestions why this happened to me? Thank you in advance.
Such a beautiful tank, I enjoyed every second watching this video. 👍 Seems like your aquascaping skills are remarkable. What are you doing with your trimmings?
Simply, if they don't get enough light, or if they are fighting other plant, Pogostemon Helferi will try to grow upward. I had the same "issue" in one tank. (W. aqua sky light )
