    “Fighting war on the battlefield is the most stupid and primitive way of fighting a war. The highest art of warfare is not to fight at all, but to subvert anything of value in your enemy’s country. Anything. Pit white against black, old against young, wealthy against poor, and so on… doesn’t matter, as long as it disturbs society, as long as it cuts the moral fiber of a nation, it’s good. And then you just take this country, when everything is subverted, when the country is disoriented & confused. When it is demoralized and destabilized, then the crisis will come.”

      That's why Putin starting the actual war was such a dumbass decision. He tanked his country's future for a regressive war of land conquest which wouldn't really do him any good even had he won. He could have been much more troublesome for years to come had he diverted all of his resources to undermining democracies from the inside. Don't get me wrong, they absolutely still do that, but now they don't have as many resources for that since they have to keep feeding the meat grinder.

    Globalization has created a lot of turmoil...it needs to be reigned in but I would much rather have Russia and China adopt a more Western Democratic Democracy...They are not free countries and will do everything in their power to try to export their Authoritarian model and promote Dictatorships...Yes I understand the US has propped up Dictatorships across the world we should own our past mistakes and adopt a new model of only trading with countries that emulate Western Democracy...this means cutting them off from our Banking and Financial system and barring travel.

    • @Uransibirski
      @Uransibirski Місяць тому

      Why is there no democracy in Russia? Don't break the law and that's it. Russia has already accepted Western democracy, but America has tricked and deceived them. Russia has been wasting 20 years on rapprochement with the West. And the dumbest thing for Russia is to listen to "Navalny" or the liberals (who are all for reunification with America, Europe) and lose another 20 years (in vain). Yeltsin has already said in the Russian Duma, "God bless America."

    • @Jupa
      @Jupa Місяць тому +1

      Western democracy is just smarter. The thinking man’s government. It has its flaws but it has so far remain rigid. The question is just how rigid is it, we will occasionally have to face attacks on the infrastructure.
      The caveat is that we will from time to time be forced to confront with the unknowns. Such as this US election, from which we know of Harris loses then Russia/China have found a way to subvert the system.
      This will test all the redundancy features that democracy has afforded us. I have a personal theory that all countries that seek to compete at the world stage will eventually come to Western democracy on their own, or otherwise find a structure that is more rigid and more stable. Otherwise, the western democratic hegemony will continue to remain as the one true hegemony, with no direct competition, thus they’re left to manage the rest of the world occasionally planting their own dictators and becoming somewhat dictatorial on a global scale… through western democracy.
      It’s not perfect, but it’s the best we have and has survived for as long as it had at an unprecedented scale.

    I think Trump fell for the KGB allure.
    He thought he was dancing with him, instead he was dancing for him.
    Trump being easily corruptible… Putin knew his price.
    His decision to move on Ukraine showed how secure he felt as well.
    (And VERY “conservative” of Trump…😂)
    I imagine Putin making a fist behind closed doors whispering to himself“This is all for the Motherland. RUSSIA!” whenever he has to even think of Trump. The man is on a mission. Always has been.👀😂

    The issue with digital objects is their mutable nature, making them susceptible to tampering or theft. One major challenge for national secuirty law is that the state of a digital object can change, or conversely, remain unchanged while its meaning evolves. For instance, a meme from 2000, recalled in 2024, could carry a completely different interpretation due to new social and cultural contexts. This fluidity gives digital objects new ontological significance over time. As a result, digital objects are often repurposed and recycled, with its meaning subtly shifted. Russia plays with digital objects to sublty shift meaning in cultural and social contexts. Putin has weakened perceptions of sovereignty and nationalism. Putin pours fuel on conflicts by amplifying digital objects. And Putin would argue we do it to him. People like Putin make us all live in a dog eat dog world.
