I just got done watching your why fallout crashes and went down a rabbit hole on ur channel, idk why you don’t have more subs these are actually interesting
Hey, thanks! I think I need more work on my thumbs. Of course I say that, and my most watched video (Why New Vegas Crashes 1) has about the worst thumb I've ever done!
I wish game companies could see the impact mods have already had on their finances. I loved Oblivion as a kid, I counted down every day for Skyrim’s release, and I sunk countless hours into both games on PS3. I got into PC gaming and modding for Skyrim specifically, and that has lead me to buy more from Bethesda than I ever would have simply playing on console. I wouldn’t have touched Fallout 4 again if it wasn’t for mods, but because of the modding potential I thought the game twice as well. A huge part of their success is thanks to the work of unpaid modders who loved those games as much as I do, greedily trying to consume that content feels like trying to kill the goose that lays golden eggs.
Just found out about the Nolvus Mod for Skyrim (curated 2500+ mod list with their own installer) and paid another 10€ for the Skyrim update to the AE Version. I plan to play Morrowind after that, also with extreme modding. I really would have loved if blizzard had kept the modding and open bnet enabled for Diablo2 resurrected. There are so many good overhauls for D2:LoD that will never see the light for D2R.
This is a good video, I can feel it. I will leave it open for tomorrow, sick as hell right now and need sleep. Edit: I was correct. I like the tire analogy. Still feel like crap tho...
