Of course it is ' walking with stegosaurs ', that is how I named my last diorama, this new one is WWS 2.0. I had seen 'the ballad of big Al' (WWD) and got inspired.
Thank you for the great comment. The traces were inpired by the chapter title of an old book I found: 'footsteps on the sands of time' (Extinct Monsters And Creatures Of Other Days by H. Hutchinson)
Stunning result ! This huge diorama looks so amazing . Excellent customing of 2 previous dioramas . Was a great idea this river . Just a small advice that I apply to mine : for you futures dioramas , start to paint the lower part of the frame first . So easy to work on the diorama and no risk to harm it after .
Thank you, for the nice comment and the advice. The biggest problem I caused by sanding the sides ( 6:10) thereby creating a lot of grains for the glue to stick to. In my triassic diorama (Lisowicia) I painted the frame beforehand and it was much easier to remove unwanted stuff.. The (thin) pet plastic strip I would not advice because it transforms when heated, even a little bit.
