I used to fingerboard on 29's, but switched a couple of months ago to a 32. The 29's does have a nice flip/rotation to it, but catching the board is way more difficult than on a 32
Used to fingerboard way back like ten years ago, still remember buying my 29mm or maybe it was 28mm Berlin wood board. I remember always thinking the board felt way too thin and light even right out of the box, funny ten years later the entire fingerboard community felt the same way and has made them wider. Thinking about buying a 32-34mm fb and maybe getting back into fingerboarding since I’ve watched this channel for some years now and it’s made me want to get back into it
David your so good at fingerboarding your fingerboarding videos have inspired me to start to fingerboard alot more. Your videos have made me laugh and make my days even better than they where yesterday! Even right know you may not like my comment because this video was 9 days ago but ya keep on doing what you are doing!
The look of a setup matters to me just as much as function does. 32 is where it’s at for me too💪🏼 Anything bigger feels fine but sadly it just looks goofy, and anything smaller ends up feeling a bit too light for my preference, but the challenge is fun and looks much better because of the closer scaling to a full size board👌🏼
My man was like "I can't have a 4:45 video, how about I show them 4:15 of my trip to Queenstown". Awesome vid dude! I'm gunna have to buy one of those PORK boards
I make my own fingerboards and I usually make 32mm decks. I made a 30mm used some old tech deck trucks with rubber bushings and it wasn’t too bad. Tre flips were very probably the easiest trick to do on it. I used it for a couple months and got pretty used to it, but once I went back to a 32mm, it was much easier to use. If I had to use a 29/30mm I wouldn’t mind it honestly
Now do a video on 26mm boards, those were all we rode up to about 2007. Wider boards only really started to get more popular in 2008 when Tech Deck started selling the old school boards that came with 29mm trucks, but nut even than the wide boards were 28mm. Some people even considered it cheating to use wider boards and trucks at first but than again using foam grip was also considered cheating by some people for a while, kinds sure knew how to be assholes back then.
Just leand how to kick flip onto a rail thanks to you David you have tought me alot obout fingervoarding I'm so jealous of all of your state parks I have little one on my dresser lol
Bro david wasssup i use to watch you for years then stoped watching you and stoped fingerboarding and now i remeberyou know and you are one of my favorite youtubers XD
I got a 33.3 mm 5 ply classic shape black river deck and it is such a good in between the shape is like a real skateboard yet wide enough for my street riding
On Blackriver website you can still choose if you want 7ply or 5ply as well as 29mm (and more)! I’ve got a BerlinWood long time ago and I still have it
The best collab in the world! 🌍 Well to me I think. David goes to the Braille House! And David does tricks on his fingerboard and that have to copy it in real life. Braille has done it before and so have you David
David your whole positive outlook is awesome! I love fingerboarding although all I can do is Ollie. Unless I randomly flip it on accident lol. I can Ollie a solid 5 or 6 inches though. I need another fingerboard as my graffic is worn off. Whats a good setup without going the Berlinwood/ Blackriver route?
You should recreate the true skate map for fingerboards
On goooooooooood do it dawg
Yeah
Hmmmm
that would be a great idea but which one also it might be hard bc some are mostly a bowl
Yes
I died when you said conducting business 😂 you should say it more

Nice opinion!
My opinion is the oposite hahah I started on a 29 but now that I use a 33 I think 29’s are super hard to flip

how did you land the kick flip test on the 29 mm. Mc Donald's fingerboard but not on the 29 mm. pro setup?
Bc the the maccas deck was so T H I C K there was more weight and it was bottom heavy that means there is a bigger chance of landing it
@ItzKyle so your saying the McDonald's board is better than pro?
@@brittgubbrud9952 no
yooo david love you man

Hi David i ordered a pork fingebord the Yellow design 32 mm and i am so exited😁 can’t wait to Get it!!
I think 33mm or 34mm is a great choice for a pro fingerboarder because its more comfortable also looks good to. THIS IS MY OPINION
I’ve been watching all of David’s videos for 1 year today
I was wondering if you could make a most easiest tricks on a tech deck part 3
I’ve tried all the way down to a 28 mm but I like 29mm the most
I like 27s but there aren’t any trucks to fit em
@@dustinwheelies3004 you can order custom trucks from caramel fingerboards. They go down to 26mm
On Blackriver website you can still choose if you want 7ply or 5ply as well as 29mm (and more)! I’ve got a BerlinWood long time ago and I still have it
What do you prefer for a beginner finger border a tech deck or a professional fingerboard
Eney1
