I think Temu had a big scandal about selling people’s locations and credit card info so I would be careful using it if I were you but I’m not you so just offering advice

@@JackMTB_Ski yep, it basically came out that their prices are so cheap because they aren't looking to make money off of the products. They make money off of selling your all your information. People think it is just because the products are Chinese made, but so are a lot of things for sale from other companies and they could not afford to drop prices nearly as low. Not just name, address, and card info but more so the things you are buying and looking at. I would not be surprised if it is funded by Amazon as a way to learn how they can improve marketing, etc.
The fingerboard store in my city offers entry level wooden decks for just about $7,50€ which they also use for their beginner completes - and those decks are pretty amazing even if we leave their price aside. I have $40€ decks as well and these don't necessarily skate better - but I guess a fingerboard shop isn't just purchasing any chinese decks on bulk but probably specifically ordered them with certain quality requirements.
However, what I actually mean to say:
Although I'm not particularly fond of TEMU my chinese deck and my Obsius trucks from Hong Kong have demonstrated to me that there's amazing fingerboard stuff from China.

Looks very similar to the ASI Berlin shop completes for 25€ (more or less the same in US $) and these are already amazing for this pricetag…
Not sure what the price of your setup was but when it’s cheaper it’s extremely good for small money and already semi-pro level…

Thanks create your skate I made now boards on my own and I didn’t understand why most boards go for 40 bucks and sometimes even more then that…
I mean I made my boards by hand, so a lot of love and working hours into any single board and the only boards I would sell for more then 25 bucks would be splits cause this without lasercutting by hand is just a lot of very timeintensive work, for sure that must be paid in some way but anything else is just not worth the money…
It’s the part of the board what needs to be changed the most one cause you just break a lot long before you break trucks and to beat wheels is even more rarely then that but the price of the boards on most companies is on the same level like there wheels and trucks when even offers…
On most companies it’s even more the case that they just sold Chinese trucks and wheels and the only thing they really do on there own are the boards and in this cases the boards are mostly even more expensive then the trucks and the wheels together…
So no idea why still all support that behavior (with some less exceptions) but they do…
Change nothing to that that I still will sell my boards for a fair price, the materials are not expensive at all (some ply wood, glue, a press and some clear coat) and for one board I need all in all even with burnings and painting something between 30 minutes and 1 1/2 hours pure worktime so in most cases are 20-25 bucks just fair cause everything is paid and I have a small win what makes me happy enough to make more boards for more people…
And yeah you have a lot of waiting time too between the pure working hours on a board but how should I or anybody else calculate this? it’s time for you and when you just use that with waiting it’s your own fault and not that of your costumers…
So no idea how the company’s came to the point where 40 bucks are just normal for a board even if it’s just out of naked wood with just a small replicated logo…
The logo is just on time a small invest in a metal stencil which you but in the press, already finished is a mini logo series…
And with graphics it’s even cheaper, put it one time in a plotter and everything else is a percentage of an cent for any board in ink…
But this should be enough rent for today, just an ugly topic in my eyes…
