Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I actually think Dan and Blair made a lot of sense. They were both intelligent and intellectual. They both had the same interests in art, books and movies. Although I’m a Chair shipper and will always be, they only made sense on tv. They had undeniable chemistry, but to be fair, in real life they’d be so toxic. Whereas I think Dan and Blair would make sense in the real world. For the brief moment they were together, Blair was really happy and felt seen and wanted. Just my €0.02 though
I will say while Blair and chuck were together in season 3 they weren’t toxic at all and very supportive of one another and then they made chuck do the hotel thing for drama when chuck has never not once wanted anyone but himself anywhere near Blair. It wasn’t Even in his character to want Blair to sleep with another man for any reason.
it's Serena's fault Blair hated Dan afterwards! she should've never tricked Dan to hook up with her, as a couple or friends you can't deny Dan and Blair have a special bond together.
Honestly, they should have been together.. DAIR was so TOXIC.. Yeah it was fun but it should have ended long ago... They could have had Dan become JK Rowling new money rich and him and blair be together and Serena and nate be together.. it should have always been DAN and Blair..
