On spinet pianos, clicking can also be caused by worn or missing rubber grommets on the end of the key lifters.

The piano at my school is so off tune cuz it's so expensive to get tuned and only one key does a clicking sound won multiple keys are like you press them like they're stuck halfway down they don't go back to the resting position but the regular position they are halfway down and you have to press it hard in order for it's like play a little bit and for some reason I don't know what what causes this but high-pitched ass like the last octave f for the high-pitched section is always on sustained mode regardless if you're holding the sustain pedal or not it's sustained it doesn't stop when you let go of it and only one key does a clicking sound and I've noticed it's getting progressively louder and I just think it's fascinating because it reminds me of all the behind the scenes of the piano it's not like the clicking sound in that video it's like a more of a higher pitch clicking sound it's one of the middle octaves when I tried playing moonlight sonata here quick but it was just annoy me but it's also pretty satisfying to
