I’ve got a large J Becker upright tuned to 432 hz.. within the first half a year I opened it up completely to remove the sound board. Loved the increase in power the piano had so much I can’t even tell you where those wood panels are almost 10 years later

The sustain pedal and damper pedal are the same pedal. The left pedal that brings the hammers closer to the strings is calld the soft pedal🎹🎶

Great video! I have a squeaky damper pedal. But it only squeaks if the bottom panel is on. If I remove the squeak is gone. When I put back squeak returns. :( I've tried felt in between panel and piano, nothing is working. Its really disconcerting. thank u!

Bass sustain is called the sostenuto pedal.

not really, sostenuto pedal works differently than bass sustain.
