Imagine showing respect to a cop who doesn’t even show enough respect to us to give her badge number. Not to mention she could have completely ignored him because he wasn’t breaking any laws but her cop ego wouldn’t allow it. She just had to go over to him and try to boss him around.

When I stop hearing about cops disrespecting ppl that were being very respectful, that's when I'll show cops respect. Oh wait, that'll never happen. Hence the reason I treat cops like the shit they are. When a cop walked up to me and I offered to shake his hand and he looked at me like I was stupid and refused, was the day I never showed an ounce of respect to another cop again.
