please, stop pointing the light towards the video camera. point it away from the camera, towards the table, or a white wall. this way I can see the spot, it's brightness and shape, the true quality of the light. trust me, it's better...
I was just fixig to point that out too, however I see and not surprised that he didnt reshoot that part. he isnt the only one that points flashlights at the camera. A long story short he had a good video going except like most they think the ego of theirs is all that is important. Oh he needs to give the dimensions in inches too, however he is I think done with the video as soon as it was put up.

Thank you Jason schlatt
I love the square design and can easily fit it in my fanny pack!
lol
12,000 lumen for such a small bead? That would surely blind a bear!
It does get pretty bright - that is for sure!
"protect with a flashlight", ya'll flashlight enthusiasts really haven't been in fight yet :D
lol
exacly !
Does it get very hot? I've seen some other people say that these high lumen flashlights can burn a hole in your pocket?
If you keep the turbo boost on - yes it gets quite warm. I don't know if it would burn a hole in anything though.
the X1 comes equipped with an advanced active cooling system, maybe it's good?
The part that get's pretty warm is the actual front of the light. The fan inside helps, but there is a lot of power if you have it all the way up!
I need a edc flashlight, any recomendations?
You can look at this one, otherwise Wuben has some smaller ones as well.

Presenting the beam of this flashlight on such a small area is a nonsense.
Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment!
You're welcome. Just find a bigger field next time for a 12000 lumen flooder.
