Always good when a needed repair day comes along. Bidding on 1/4 up to 3/4 broaching kit this wk end. New in the box, Euline Germany, They are pricey for sure. Man that level bushing mite out live us both (@@)!
Top job Tom. I bet that clutch feels gorgeous with the new bush, nice and positive compared to the worn out one. Sloppy controls are horrible to work with. Tony
Your audio has a very high pitched noise. Makes the otherwise interesting videos unwatchable if you still have the stereocilia to hear that high of a frequency.
Well that is not good. I had this problem a while back. I finally figured out it was the jack cable from the mic receiver to the GoPro. It was somehow causing the noise. Once I replaced it the noise went away. You are the first person to say it is back. I don't hear it when watching on my laptop or desk top computer.
Hi Tom,
Good fix for the Monarch.... that should last for many years to come...
Cheers
Paul,,
Thanks Paul. I think Khaos agrees with you. :)
Hi Tom, a very good job: your workshop is full of every dream for a maker !! I like your square broach, a very clean result !! Ciao!! Alberto
Thanks Alberto! The square broach does make quick work of things for sure.
Wow Tom, That's some major ware...Much better now. Nice big boy broaching 👍👍
Hey Dean. Yeah seems to be a common problem on the Monarchs.
Nice repair job. Keep on keeping on.
500$ for a broaching tool? That's a lot. And I don't even have a press :)
Good work, Tom. That will be so much nicer to use.
$536 to be exact. Ouch!
Tom - you nicely put the sloopy handle problem to bed . Nice work ! Great score on the broach. Jim
Now it is a pleasure to use. 👍
This is a awesome repair. I’m glad you staying busy.
Thanks Jim. Plenty of projects around here.😊
That is one big broach, thanks for sharing.
Hey Steve, yeah it is. 🤗

Great job Tom. At some point I will have to repair mine also.
I have a broach you can borrow 😁.
Hi Tom thanks for sharing
I appreciate it.
Gday Tom, broach’s aren’t cheap but way better then using a file, great job as always mate, Cheers
Hey Matty. Yep sure beats the file method for sure.
Nice work Tom ! ENJOYED..
Thanks Shawn. 🙏
Nice work. That an expensive broach. I would have loved to pick one up.
The broach was a good E-bay find for sure.

Yeah good quality broaches are not cheap. Hopefully you score them at a good price.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you Craig.
Did my CK without a broach, just the drill, mill and file approach. Nice find on the ebay broach.
That is probably the way I would have done it, if I had not scored the broach for a great price.
Top job Tom. I bet that clutch feels gorgeous with the new bush, nice and positive compared to the worn out one. Sloppy controls are horrible to work with. Tony
Man a world of difference. So much better.
good video Tom
Thanks.
Nice repair/enjoyed
Thanks Chuck. Good to hear from you.
Nice work Tom!
Thanks Dan. I see you changed your channel name.
@@hilltopmachineworks2131 uggh darn Google…LOL.
@@houseofbrokendobbsthings5537 I just figured you have fixed all the broken things so the channel name would not make sense anymore. :)
12:03 the dog that you came for
Kaos just wants a good pat.
That took the slop out of it . One of those broaches would be all of $1000 down here , if not more ! 👍
Wow that would hurt the old wallet.
@@hilltopmachineworks2131 That's why i picked up a slotting head for my Bridgeport , cheaper option !!!
Oh yeah. That is the way to go.@@swanvalleymachineshop
Clean job
Thanks Kimber.
Kieth Rucker would say thats a rap for this one guys! AL B.

The handle on my cbb is not bad but the carriage on the series 90 has a mile of slop. Someday I will get to it.😊
Understand that. Always seems like there is something to fix. How is the audio now with the new adapter cord?
@@hilltopmachineworks2131 I didn't notice any noise so it must have fixed it.
@@bcbloc02 Great 👍
When you said, broach it, I thought, hugh?
Who the hell has that broach??
Only you rich guys, wink.
Nicely done.
Ha ha! I can score some E-bay deals now. 😁

I hear it too
@@josephkubik4931 Thanks for letting me know. I have gone back to just using the GoPro internal mic to eliminate this problem.
