So great to see you out riding ! Looks like you have found a great group of folks to ride with. Just seeing and hearing your Hardtail Party intro always makes me smile ! Cheers
Good to see you're out riding and having fun! I'm down with a slow, easy ride. I'm super slow now. Luckily, I have 1 local friend who bikes and doesn't mind going slow with me. Just nice to get outside and enjoy my time.
Jesse with SSS has inner bar ends! I absolutely love my SQ labs inner bar ends. So good on an XC hardtail where you are riding roads and flatter stuff.
Great to see you back on a HT, really hope the new location will allow you to enjoy more rides 🤟 7:50 any chance of a HT party review of a stooge/jones? the geo & design is super interesting on those bikes
Hurt my Norco Torrent over the weekend. A bad line through a rock garden caused me to bend my rear cassette and scuff up that gorgeous green paint job. 😥
I think a few of us are watching that have experienced CFS and post exertion malaise. Let us know how the PEM went after this ride. Best advice I was given is that small amounts of PEM that only take 1-3 days to recover from are a good amount to retrain your brain into not fearing exercise and allowing your system to “get fit” again, back to normal.
Its 4 days later now. Unfortunately I'm still struggling with the PEM. I'm typing this from my bed right now. Over on my Big Brain Party channel I dive deeper into how I'm adjusting my riding to deal with my psa and me/cfs, but it's still a massive learning curve
Ain’t that the truth. No feedback from the body that you’ve overdone it while exercising, then it hits you a day or two later. I’ve found that small amounts of weights or body weight training (calisthenics) each day are a lot more effective than cardio to get you back on track.

Man, sorry to hear that The first cut/scratch is the deepest. Now you can ride it like you stole it and push it to its limit
Missed it. Maybe next one.

Hopefully you can find a sustainable balance. That looked like you over did it a bit
@@amayer171 Thanks. The last year and a half have been a daily experiment of trying to improve my health without overdoing it.
