Just a reminder don't quit your job its important for you and don't stop making Video whether you're having difficult Life..or someone you had a Negative on your don't give in...Keep yourself Positive and never give up on making videos
@@cakrabayubudireksa4609 That very true what doesn't kills me makes me stronger 💪🦵
I mean it might be different for different games/niches but my CPM at 4800 subs is $6.50-ish. but RPM tends to be much lower around $2.
Thx for this, this will be really helpful for if I get monetised
Sure, you are getting there!
very helpful 😊
@@vidIQ how much does a channels which produce songs or make lyrics on songs make
Not if but WHEN! Don't give up, take me for example, I've been at this for a decade (on and off most of the time due to irl but putting in the grind the last 3-4 years) and as i make improvements to myself and the way I do things I'm getting closer and closer every single day.
@@ABHI-ud7pnzero.
You cannot get monetized producing lyrics for copyrighted music.
You can do it for copyright free music though. Just stay away from the common popular songs.
This rlly helped for when or if I get monetized
That sounds like a challenge to me
I need like 200$ per month
This will be really helpful for those gamers who are about to get monetised! 😁
it's the easiest to do yet it's the least money-making
cuz it’s a competitive niche
@@scl-edits It's also due to the demographic that gaming channels attract. High-end advertisers aren't going to place their adverts on gaming videos/channels because the audience of gaming channels are typically young with less disposable income. The opposite is true for tech, finance, luxury goods, holidays, and property channels, etc. These channels typically attract a higher CPM.
As gaming creator, my CPM for the last 28 days has been $8. Though RPM just over $3. It's not really enough to live off though and AdSense rates fluctuate a lot and can't be relied upon. Diversifying is indeed essential unless you're a major gaming creator. I work longer hours than a full time job on my channel which keeps viewership reasonably high with plenty of new content. Will need to diversify into other revenue streams soon though to keep it going...
What is RPM?
@@ljgamesandtech money's per 1000 views
i think now you can live off though an adsense
My other gaming channel is actually doing really well. I've found if you can find a niche and get a good following for it then it can work very well. I'm making around 6-8$ per 1000 views. I make niche guides for the game.
Just need to build my audience on this channel now.
What's your channel bro
What os your chaneal
1.40$ i’ll take that still 😂
😂
Bro , it's before youtube takes their cut
@@Ballu12345not every gaming channel is going to have the same results
*77 cents*
I would take it...i would prefer to save up and buy new games and upload
Not sure where you're getting the data from? I've never seen anything less than $2 RPM with the average around $3. CPM on that is around $9. I've got a group of other gaming channels that I meet with weekly, everyone else is in that range as well. Maybe $1.40 is for children's games like Minecraft and Roblox? Probably hard to market to that audience which would make sense why it's that low
Yeah I agreee
Agreed
Lucky you, I get an RPM of $1.2 and cpm of around $3.5 on my videos... the majority of my audience is 18-24 years old
@@EliteTrap how long are your videos and how many ads are you putting in? I've noticed a big difference in RPM based on video length and frequency of ads as well. My guides channel gets about what I stated, but my let's play channel covers the same games and gets about 60% more RPM because they are all 60 minutes long with an ad every 5 minutes. So even within the same niche it can vary depending on those factors
@@Strat-Guides have you noticed a difference in RPM when playing different games? Like GTA 5 vs COD vs Hogwarts Legacy vs BG3 or whatever games that you play on your let's play channel.
this is not accurate for all games/niches my CPM is $8-$10 depending on the video
Whoever is reading DONT give up on your channel. Think about all the hard work that you have already put in. Every youtuber was once in your spot they just kept going. Stay consistent and you will reach your goals. consistent uploads and improvement and some determination is all you need! I am going for 550 subs by the end of February!!!
I need more patience 😂
@@ljgamesandtech same
@@TheOneTheOn1ylooks like u got it
I can confirm, my gaming channel is making a lot less than my other non gaming channel.
Ur rpm ?
Thanks vidiq for this wonderful knowledge :)
Thank you for watching!
What about UA-cam music pages?
What about weather based channels?
I've never seen rpm that low
One of my videos got an RPM of $0.9 😅
Do you know what the CPM is for a fishing UA-cam channel?
I don't think anyone knows it that good....
Can you also cover CPMs for Coffee channels
What about firework niches? :)
Not sure where you g eat $1.40 from but with the gaming channels I work with, it’s realistically between $3-$5 per 1000 views.
Is that CPM or RPM?
Interesting. Thanks for this!
Thanks for the advice bro😬👌
Good info!
I run a VR gaming channel and my average RPM ranges from $3-$5 and the CPM is like $7-$11
Rip
@@HeresTheTaleI wish mine was that way 😂, my average cpm is $3.5 and RPM $1.2
Thanks for the info!
good info right?
I don’t presently have a day job thanks to disability. Another thing you can do is live stream on Twitch. I’m definitely going to do memberships on here when I can, open a patreon and I’ll be doing some other things too.
We finally meet here
I know you on a Facebook group
(Small UA-camrs B)
Wow. Tell us gamers the truth 👍
What about construction videos style
Can you do one for a comedy channel?
Makes sense really.
Great advice.
So true, one of my vids that got 1k views was around £0.50p, lower than I thought it would be.
Thanks 😊
Thx!
What about reaction channel?
I ENJOY play Gaming.
Pls tell about education channel
Well that is my new goal
🤯
Already I switched gaming to *education* type; because I found my unique talent and also audience, now cooking some videos... it's my new 2nd channel
My friend has a roblox gaming channel, hes in is prime currently, he made 1k usd a month with consistent uploads, if it wasnt 1k, it was near 500-900 a month. hes 15 right now lol. So yes, while the pay is low in a sense, depening on how good you pop off. it can be rewarding. and also doesnt take a whole lot of effort
What’s his channel?
Ive been searching to no avail, anybody have a clue on what a Sawmill/Lumber Niches Cpm/Rpm?
I feel like gaming would be one of the highest in terms of superchats on lives
What’s your number one tip for a small creator trying to grow
Ooh... I thought it's higher than this.
Does this vary by person because I get $2.40 per 1,000 views and it’s been like that since I got monitized
Nice broo 🔥🔥🔥
but i dont get it, so many people say different stuff, from 1 to 10 dollar. Now whats right?
thats fine
Can you guys make a video on how to get sponsors under 1000 subs or is it not possible to get a sponsor under 1000 subs???
Hey please help, are we re-upload game trailer for without them permission?
great one
What about artist 😅
wow I like gaming
I learned this the hard way unfortunately. Got a massive growth spike in a month, quit my job, channel died lol
You should work on your thumbnails and titles you csn be bsck st millions of views you can do it!
Well that's sad...
Hey what do you mean by memberships? How are they supposed to bring you income?
So here are some questions I’ve been wondering. How would I go about getting sponsorships? Do they find me? Or do I go out seeking them through contacting there marketing departments, etc (something along those lines).
When you are small you find affiliates, when you are big, you find sponsors. When you are bigger, sponsors find you.
@@ggrnoob nice
@@ggrnoob I’ve seen a guy with 2.5k subs have a sponsor, that’s why I was confused.
@@Scrappsta thats dependant on niche.. He might have 2.5k subs but maybe his videos are getting 40k+ views.. Views trump subs.
@@Scrappsta or he might have OTHER platforms like Twitch or tiktok with a much bigger audience, but he markets everywhere.
Good 👍
To live off UA-cam you need a lot of UA-cam channels
If you make 300$ per month and have others channel that's making more over that then you can live off UA-cam
You need more channel's too live off UA-cam
You can't live off UA-cam with one channel I mean you can if you getting millions of views per videos
there is the fact that u kinda need to have a *personality* so that ppl will actually come back to watch u, but go off
What about anime
What about its game Live stream let's say 100 people watching what could be the cpm then. Without including donations only from ad. For a 14 k subs channel
1800$ last year
Awesome!
WOW😮
and for shorts it's about $10 for 1 million views, if you're lucky. *Although it might change and possibly hasn't really set the true base line yet.
Wait Wut
@@NathanVlogzOfficial even tech niche makes about $20 per 1 million short views, gaming channels will have drastically less than that. Of course short views were never going to be major source of income, but in the end anything helps.
Omg thought it was way more-
Do you mean diversify your content 🤔??? Or types of games....idk I started a channel but I'm still trying to get the bugs out of my setup🤣
Niche gaming channels might make lower income compare to general gaming channels! Cause if you’re playing one game and make content for that specific game you’re competing with everyone who makes that content and if the game doesn’t have much to provide you’re not getting many views and ofc less view less money.
What bugs?
My channel is also about gaming
Yeah, I don't think it'll work for me then. I gotta find something else that's different :/ cuz it's even lesser in an asian country.
True 😢
Hi am India
Do you know how much a creator that posts sports related content usually make?
It depends on what kind of sport you cover. Follow your own posting routine!
This may be a dumb question but how does youtube know what kind of channel you are?
Lol I get 0.06$ 😂
check if all the advertising options are activated and if Americans are watching your videos😅
Yeah but that’s impressions which you get more of than views
Vidiq I am from India ,I think in India mostly some games are played so much but are not should I make video in English language so peoples of so many countries will watch my videos ?
We not doing this for the money kids 😅
Well... I still need over 900 subscribers to even get that 😂
What about a channel doing vids about chess? If not a gaming channel, should it be education?
Chess would definitely get higher. Kids dont watch chess. Grown ups do.
Yeah I’m still wary of going full time. But my first month of making money on this gaming channel is about to push over $1000 and if I don’t have to pay rent going forward, I might be able to make that work consistently. Especially if I have more time to make better quality videos. Gotta keep grinding.
Keep grinding
For God so loved the world he gave his one and only begotten son so that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but hav everlasting life -John 3:16. I love you all but God loves you all way more. God bless!!!!
My eye prblm ,so now im not play games ,only small game played.🎉🎉
.. that’s low
Do I even consider as a gaming channel?
My friend have a gaming channel and so, time the views of it's video become less and it happens 4 to 7 times and from this problem he lost 150 to 200 views 😥
Please help 🙏🏻
😢
My RPM is just $ 0.03 ...😅😅
Wendy's
They really do like to make things impossible for small creators to do anything..
Mm
history secrets unknown facts
Thanks idol for advise I love it
Got it VidIQ! Thanks so much for all the tips!
Huh weird i got paid 3$ if not more for getting a little bit over 1k, also not true if your a decent gaming channel getting an average of over 20k views per video you will make a decent amount of money, I literally made over 500$ and only 4 of my videos did above that while the rest were way below 10k views not to mention i didn't upload every single day and i only upload 98% of the time one video a day so if your a person who loves to upload more than once a day you add on the extra vids as well not to also mention that my viewers watch time for my channel is trash so yea you 100% can make enough money on ad sense alone.
also forgot to mention my channels subs is only 5k so if you become better than average ( i'm below average or a good channel) so like above 100k per video views you make a lot more with many different factors adding up to how much more money you would make also the payment for 20k views is said to be around 100$ also this isn't my main channel just the one i use for watching vids. Not to also mention a couple of my videos were demonetized so i didn't make money from every video. So if you get luckier than me you will make a good chunk of cash.
Hello
working hard to get 4000 watch time😅
I'm a gaming channel, but these advirtisers consider me as an education channel so my cpm is like 7$
I’m not even monetized yet 😂
Keep growing and it all will come 😉
I felt this 😂
I don't want money I just want to enspire.
I produce tech video about phones , RPM 0.2 per 1000 😢😢😢😢😢😢 as
Million view equal 200 dollar 😴
