I used these last week and had a hard time with the laminate. Had to look up a video on how to do it correctly 😂. So happy people like you exist this was so good ty
wow Angie, you saved my day. I was trying to do the waterproof stickers and was not doing well!!! I am so glad I watched this tutorial. As usual you do an amazing job of great instruction that are easy to understand. I learned so much from you! I do have the Cricut Xtra, but chose the Cricut Maker for this project. Thank you
After watching 3 videos about the printable waterproof sticker set tutorial, for first time users, this was the best one! I needed a visual how to, to print on the vinyl.
I have to tell you that you are Truly Amazing! You are my INSPIRATION! I will say since I started watching you which its been a while now, and I spend soooo much money buying everything you recomend. You are truly my favorite Designer, teacher, most challenging, and truly gifted in demonstrating your tutorials in every way. You are really an inspiration to so many of us. May you continue to Bless us with your Amazing talents.... God Bless You!
Angie, great video as always. I used the material setting for the printable vinyl exact to what I was using and it did not cut thru enough to remove sticker. Should I set blade to cut more? Use another material setting? Double cut? I don't want to waste anymore paper. Please help. TIA ❤
Thank you for sharing. So awesome. My grandniece is just learning to use Cricut. It will work on cricut explore too . ❤ Thank you so much for teaching us.
Hi Angie ! Thank you for another awesome video. I designed a sticker and would like to put it on a coffee mug. Would this sticker paper be ok? Thank you 😊
How do I get the different cut types 😅I followed your tutorial I’ve messed up so many times as a beginner this sticker set I did looks a bit more decent to the others I did haha
Ok u mentioned can use on other machines. Will the sensor scan with laminate being over the markings as with using print sticker paper/laminate suggestion was inside the registration marks, can u explain
I'm currently working on a project using Cricut Waterproof stickers. Somehow, my cricut joy xtra did not cut all the way through the laminate/sheet. How can i get it to cut through? I also used the "More" feature before cutting. PLEASE HELP!
Sounds like you need to pick a different material setting. Try something thicker. you may try a holographic vinyl setting if you have already tried the cricut waterproof sticker sheet setting.
Is there a way to recut on the Xtra like you can on the other machines? What I mean is that if the cut doesn’t go through the material fully. How do you do that if so?
Hi Angie. Thank you so much for this tutorial. It's awesome. I'm having a hard time putting the laminate on without it bubbling. I have tried and tried using your method, but still I can't get it bubble free. I think it just takes practice perhaps?
Hi Angie when calibrating the machine my printer prints the sheet the wrong way , downloaded it from cricut but cant get it to work, hope this makes sense.
So I just used this product and I hand washed my tumbler with my stickers on it and the ink bled... how is this waterproof is I can't wash my cups? If I can't wash my cups then how can I put this on my car and trust it won't get ruined in the weather? Any tips?
@@AngieHolden I used the laminate... I printed the stickers, put the laminate on, then cut and peeled. They came out with a kiss cut and not cut all the way through the paper. I used my joy xtra and the settings specifically for the Cricut laminate set.... idk
So can we do bumper stickers with this! For a long time if you wanted long lasting bumper stickers you had to have a eco-solvent printer!!! So excited for this! ❤ i would probably still laminate them but I bet they will last! Can't wait to test! Edit:I caught the part where you said it comes with a laminate sheet! That's awesome
Previously I have purchased the Cricut printable sticker paper. The backing is stiff and too slippery for my printer. By the looks of your video, the sticker paper doesn't look stiff but I'm curious as to how slippery it is? I don't want to buy another product that I can't use.
Is this sticker paper as thick as their other brand? My printer is unable to use it because it's too thick and I know many other people that have had the same problem.
The older machines have a sensor that is not as good. Make sure you are using only white paper. Add matte tape over the lines on any sticker paper this is glossy. You can also play with the light in your space. Too much or too little light can have an effect.
Never liked the scraper from Cricut and the name scraper really? Rather get one with a felt side and a hard side or just tow different ones. Scratches glossy sticker surfaces.
I used these last week and had a hard time with the laminate. Had to look up a video on how to do it correctly 😂. So happy people like you exist this was so good ty
Glad I could help!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Every time I watch one of your video's it cost me money! ha ha! I enjoy all your video's as you explain in detail how to do a project.
HA HA HA!

Always great video and the explication are so easy love it 😊
Great tutorial!! I love how you explain everything in great detail and so clearly!! Thank you Angie!!
🩷😍🤩🎉💙
Glad it was helpful!
I agree, she great
Your videos are amazing! I love the way you explain everything. I am excited to try the stickers.
Yay!
Thank you for this easy-to-follow tutorial! I have not unboxed my Joy Xtra but I will now!
Have fun!
Fabulous video Angie, just bought the Joy Extra 😊
I love that machine so much!
@@AngieHolden I didn’t realise how good it would be, had a fabulous day playing after watching your videos 😍
That's really cool! I love all of the stickers!
Thanks!
Just followed along with you and I finally found what I was looking for! My stickers are perfect. Ty angie!
Awesome!
Thanks for showing how to use a shape instead of an offset. I don’t make many stickers, but am thinking I will make more going forward.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the sticker video. I ordered the Joy xtra around 1 am from Cricut. Look forward to trying these.
Happy to help!
Thanks Angie. This is very helpful.

Any of those would probably work. I would probably try another material setting.
Great job!!!
Thank you! Cheers!

Thank you so much for teaching us.

I've only used my Joy to make cards so far. I gotta pull that bad boy out and make some stickers!
Not the Joy Xtra can do print then cut. The original Joy cannot.
Hi Angie ! Thank you for another awesome video. I designed a sticker and would like to put it on a coffee mug. Would this sticker paper be ok? Thank you 😊
It would work however all stickers are hand wash only and can't be used in the dishwasher.
How do I get the different cut types 😅I followed your tutorial I’ve messed up so many times as a beginner this sticker set I did looks a bit more decent to the others I did haha
The different cut types should just come up if you are using most Cricut machines. If you have an Explore Air 2 or earlier, turn your dial to custom.
Thanks Angie! Great tutorial 🥰
Thanks for watching!
Ok u mentioned can use on other machines. Will the sensor scan with laminate being over the markings as with using print sticker paper/laminate suggestion was inside the registration marks, can u explain
Yep. It is designed to work with their sensors.
Is there a special blade for cutting these stickers on the Maker? I had to use a knife blade, after two passes with the regular blade.
Should work just as I have shown here on the Maker.

It worked!😃 Thanks for responding!
Is there a way to recut on the Xtra like you can on the other machines? What I mean is that if the cut doesn’t go through the material fully. How do you do that if so?
They took that function away on the Joy and Joy Xtra. Not sure why.
Hi, @angieholden! I have the cricut maker 3! what mat do you recommend for this exact project?
I would use a blue light grip mat.
Hi Angie. Thank you so much for this tutorial. It's awesome. I'm having a hard time putting the laminate on without it bubbling. I have tried and tried using your method, but still I can't get it bubble free. I think it just takes practice perhaps?
Hmmm. Perhaps. Maybe try going slower? You can also get a wider scraper or use a ruler.
@@AngieHolden thank you. I will try that 😊
My cricut has a hard time seeing the black brackets when using glossy papper. I have to put no gloss scotch tape over the marks. Any suggestions.
For glossy surfaces that is common!
@@AngieHolden seems like a design flaw
Have you tested this on wood that has been treated with minwax polyurethane? I wonder if it wood work on porch signs.
I have not! I would definitely go over it with a sealer for an outdoor sign on wood.
🎉 I got my Machine at 9pm Alaska time. I am so excited 😆 i love my Cricut joy 🥲 but going up to his sister. Love you videos help so much
Enjoy!
Thank you. Can’t wait to see more of you videos to learn more for you.
I ordered mine at 445 this morning, just need to order the sticker paper
Enjoy!
Hi Angie when calibrating the machine my printer prints the sheet the wrong way , downloaded it from cricut but cant get it to work, hope this makes sense.
Sounds like you have mirror on in your print settings. Turn it off.
I love the size of this machine and the fact that it’s Bluetooth
Do you have to use
Bluetooth? My computer doesn’t have Bluetooth. Does it have to be the joy for sticker making?
@@MyInfojunkie sorry, I don’t know
Hi? When washing any cup with stickers they should stay correct?
Technically yes. This sticker paper had really good adhesion. I would hand wash only though.
@@AngieHolden thanks for your response! 😉
So is this the same as just printing stickers and buying some laminate paper, can you explain the difference please?
You can use another brand. I was just reviewing the new Cricut version. This one is UV resistant and some of the others are not.
@@AngieHolden Thanks, that's good to know.
my EA2 always has a hard time reading registration lines if I go over them with the laminate sheet.
Yep it will! Try adding matte tape over them!
Curious to know if you're tried removing the stickers after a while. Thinking about cars and wanting to change out the stickers. TIA
I actually did a video on the method I use a while back: ua-cam.com/video/7AZlZvf5XqE/v-deo.html
Will the Joy Xtra cut magnet sheets?
Generally those are cut with a deep point blade so no they would not be able to be cut with this machine.
Today, I ordered my machine at 12;01 am....
Hope you enjoy it!
Yes, I want the stickers to cut better.@@AngieHolden
I just ordered mine at 1:23pm 🎉
What printer do you recommend to make stickers?
Try this: ua-cam.com/video/3L3Dn5rkQ9A/v-deo.html
So I just used this product and I hand washed my tumbler with my stickers on it and the ink bled... how is this waterproof is I can't wash my cups? If I can't wash my cups then how can I put this on my car and trust it won't get ruined in the weather? Any tips?
I still have had no trouble with this product and use the cup I made here a lot. Maybe you didn't use the laminate over the top?
@@AngieHolden I used the laminate... I printed the stickers, put the laminate on, then cut and peeled. They came out with a kiss cut and not cut all the way through the paper. I used my joy xtra and the settings specifically for the Cricut laminate set.... idk

Yep you should be able to!
Can it use same blade as original Joy?
Yep!

I will be trying out the new version of the regular sticker paper in a video soon!
Can u put this in the water like a bathtub
I wouldn't.
Is this sticker paper as thick as their other brand? My printer is unable to use it because it's too thick and I know many other people that have had the same problem.
This is an all new product that has been completely redone.
Can a Stainless Steel Tumbler be Sublimated? If so let me know how plz.
Ed
It would have to have a sublimation coating on it. They do make them.
Plz help. The cuts are off, not cutting where it’s supposed to. I calibrated twice. And when I use the non waterproof sticker paper it comes out fine.
Sound like maybe you are getting a glare. Try covering the black lines with matte tape.
I'd like to know where you got that cool small little cooler. The sticker set looks amazing, can't wait to try it.
I found it on clearance at Hobby Lobby! It was meant to be!
I saw it at Container Store the other day as well.
Angie can you give me the name of that sticker paper you used in that video there for outside
I link to everything I use in the description below the video.
My cricut explor air 2 will not cut when i use the laminate? Why? help?
Sounds like it can't see the registration marks. I would put matte tape over the lines.
What would cause the machine not to read the registration marks? I have an Explore Air
The older machines have a sensor that is not as good. Make sure you are using only white paper. Add matte tape over the lines on any sticker paper this is glossy. You can also play with the light in your space. Too much or too little light can have an effect.
What do I do if I don't have a printer and want my stickers to be just words?
You could cut vinyl?
Do you think this would work on an outdoor wooden sign?
Maybe. Wood is tricky as it is more about the way the wood is prepared more than this material.
Can I use the Waterproof Sticker Paper for Outdoor on the Cricut Joy or do I have to use the Cricut Joy Xtra?
The Cricut Joy does not do print then cut so you can't make stickers like shown here.
Never liked the scraper from Cricut and the name scraper really? Rather get one with a felt side and a hard side or just tow different ones. Scratches glossy sticker surfaces.
