Today on the UA-cam education channel, we tackle a question we get asked all the time: what's in our gear bag? The simple answer is: a lot. As wedding cinematographers, finding a case that could accommodate all the cameras, lenses and accessories we bring with us on each project was a key part of developing a faster shooting workflow while staying organized during hectic shoot days.

Could you guys make an updated video similar to this for 2020? Wanting to pick up a EOS R5 and C200 in the next year or so and wondering if a Sigma 18-35mm + 24-105mm would be a better buy over a single 70-200?

I know this is an old video, But I'm curious if you still use the c100 mk ii as your B and C cam? I"m currently a Sony a6500/a6300 shooter but I wanna move over to the Cinema line and the C100 mk ii caught my interests. Also, it'll be cool if you guys can do a video on your camera settings and post prod workflow. :)

Hey there, we mainly stay local/drive with this setup. We have a small C100II setup that we take with us on vacations (you can see what exactly that entails in the description to our Hawaii video), but all of our wedding/commercial work is in Toronto (which we're thankful for as we couldn't imagine flying with all this!)

Hi guys! I`m thinking about buying a Pelican Case 1650 like that... We own a C100 and maybe we´ll buy two more C100 MkII for a big project this year. Do you think that peli is enough for 3x c100 bodies, 2x 70-200 lenses, 1x 24-105 lens and some accesories? Maybe too much weight in one case?

Hey there, we use one of those straps that we showed in the video. Basically, a receiver sits in the strap which goes on the bride's leg, the microphone runs up the dress and sits around the cleavage area.

you looking to upgrade at all to the c200?
Maybe - slowly over the coming years. At the moment, we don't really need 4K (stabilization and reframing with 4K would be nice, but not a must for us at the moment) and RAW for weddings would be way too intensive of a workflow in time, storage and processing power. Ideally, we get one for commercial projects and some sort of C100 Mark III with 4K, albeit not raw, gets released.

Kingmon Creative we might be tackling this in future videos or might actually decide to do workshops or 1 on 1 training instead because of how content intensive color grading can be. We’ll keep everyone posted!

Do you think the original C100 is still a good buy in 2018 going into 2019?
In terms of the image it produces, it’s a great camera. It shoots on a 4K sensor still and the color and sharpness is on point. The only downside is the ergonomics, there’s a lot of things that make it not so ideal. The EVF is useless and the LCD screen is pretty awful. So you’ll need a monitor and Zacuto z-finder to make it usable. We’ve been using them as C or D cameras in the past few years and will probably phase them out by next season
What is with the music over powering the commentary. Good video content, but wow could only make out about 50% of the commentary when the music volume lowered in volume.
