The coffee uniquely Malaysian is Ipoh White Coffee and it has been listed as one of top 10 coffee in the world along with Vietnamese coffee, two cofffees that representimg South East Asia. Ipoh White Cofee originated from a city of Ipoh in Perak Malaysia, 2 hours by train in the middle between KL and Penang, The roasted coffee bean is mixed with margarine and served with condensed milk. You can try it at Oldtwon White Coffee chains around Malaysia . Another Malaysian coffee is old time coffee, pure black coffee without milk. Strange also that as we see from TikTok of some American refugees in Red Note seeing other countries are much more advanced in infrastructure and grocery haul. P.S. - our subway were years earlier than Thailand so Thailand may have bought the latest equipment since they started later.
Malaysia has a modern and reliable train system. The broken U.S. train system is a total joke! The U.S. should learn from Malaysia and revamp its train system.
At the start of the video, he forgot to point out that he is at La La Port. It is a Japanese mall. I don't know why he compares it to a China mall. Then he walks to the Hang Tuah LRT station which is directly connected to La La Port. Connecting malls to train station is something that we are learning from Japan. Most Japanese train stations would be conveniently connected or situated next to a mall.

And in my personal opinion, the best coffee in Malaysian version has to be kopitiams coffee. Zus is ok but they are more like starbucks or coffee bean. Try Oriental Kopi next time. Or any chinese kopitam.
I was about to explain that to him and the i saw your explanation.
cekodok❎, cucur kodok✅
Yea it is banana fritters

Malaysian Malays are Muslims.
Islam teaches believers to always be clean and pure. In addition, maintaining cleanliness is the responsibility of moral and civilized people.
Muslim Malays are the majority population in Malaysia, followed by Chinese and Indians. In Sabah and Sarawak, eastern Malaysia, there are many indigenous peoples who are native to the island of Borneo.
Relax man.. I am Malaysian and you are glazing my country way too much..
@@russianjohnny8080defined too much? It's maybe according to you. Uncalled for!

No worries bro. You can eat with fork and spoon anytime. We do that also sometimes.
He's probably still not familiar with malaysian restaurants, 99.9% of which provide sinks for hand washing either at the back, right outside the washroom (toilet in malaysia and uk) or in the front at one of the pillars on the 5 foot way
@@jonmath4182 some restaurants provide water in a pot for hand washing at every table.
The nasi campur you tried is basically from Kelantan, a state on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, near Thailand.
As for coffee, if you ask me, I love Gigi Coffee-Colombia Bean (a Western-style coffee).
The Penang coffee you mentioned is probably our local coffee, which you can easily find at traditional kopitiams. You can try it at any Chinese kopitiam around Petaling Street. But as a Muslim (since I need to find a halal kopitiam), I’d recommend kopi ais or kopi C ais (coffee with evaporated milk) from Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock.
Do not get confuse between locals and migrants

Love watching your vlog, it’s my first time watching your video and i find that you’re so polite and honest 😂
For good local coffee, Oriental Kopi (can find in Pavillion, Mid Valley) and Thong Kee Kopitiam (located mostly outside of KL city center)
True. Hainanese coffees are the best!!! I just watched his penang video and would recommend him to go to Chinatown (aka Petaling Street) to find those kopitiams. In fact, there are a few shops nearby the Pasar Seni MRT station.
Better coffee at unknown local ie the village area not these hype franchise.
Such beautiful coverage this is. I appreciate your talent.
Hello sy dari malaysia.. terima kasih video anda.. semoga berjaya dimasa depan😊😊
Zeus is one of Malaysian coffee chains, other that that are Richiamo, The Coffe Bean & Tea Leaf, Bask Bear Coffee or just go to any traditional Kopitiam (Coffee house) typical Malaysian coffee house that serve good coffee and breakfast, normally for breakfast it come with toasted kaya and half boiled egg
Hey its not zeus. It zus coffeee. Mintak maaf ya.🙏
Ipoh white coffee, zus coffee..everything taste bad. Should try all local coffees in malay restaurants are the best
Wow... You are a damn coffee lover too, I guess. The way you explain about the coffee in Malaysia looks like you are just like him. Coffee Lover.
For me coffee kampung much better lol😅
Try to look for a few hipster cafes in the heritage Chinatown area (go to Four Points by Sheraton as a starting point). Cafes such as Yew Yew Cafe offers great coffee and cakes.
Bro, don't be afraid that you will be safe when you are in Malaysia... you can go out late at night... and eat wherever you like... Food in Malaysia eats clean. Because traders are obliged to maintain cleanliness.
All Malaysians can speak fluent English, except for most foreign workers here in Malaysia, primarily from Indonesia and Bangladesh, who may not be proficient in English. Just for your information, and don't get it wrong. Welcome to Malaysia!

Better don't compare us with American, Malaysia just a small country
You have people in charge too.
Peninsular Malaysia is as large as England. Malaysia on the hand is almost as large as Germany.
Why not? Americans earn higher than Malaysians. It's how your government prioritises its people. For one maybe not simply giving away money to a developed country in the middle east that provides free healthcare from your own earnings. 😊
but not a single negative comparison on our side tho
Not America. AMERICA is a landmass covering from Canada to Central America and South America. USA doesn't present the entire America Continent and people of the Central and South who speak Spanish and Portugal definitely don't want USA to represent their views as AMERICA
SO NEVER USE America to represent USA. It's not only inaccurate but wrong.
Welcome to Malaysia Bro...( love to see a very nice Mak Cik Selling Putu Piring! )
Hey dude. Just to put things in perspective. The Malaysian public transport and train system was developed way way ahead of Bangkok, Thailand. Even the coverage areas that the trains covers are more extensive and wider compared with the Thai ones.😅✌️
The skywalks which inter connects with malls and other landmarks in Bangkok are not available in Malaysia though
I had to subscribe after seeing you enjoy musang king durian (from another video). LOL. And you food rating is truly honest. Have a good time here, your openness and positive outlook will enable you to enjoy the very best Malaysia has to offer.
That called cekodok pisang. Flour and banana. You also can make it in America
No, not in america, he can't. To make one he has to go to banana republic
They don't have the correct banana over there to make cekodok or pisang goreng. All their bananas are almost tasteless hahaha

Nice dude ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍
That's the LRT, the first of it's kind in KL than the Monorail. It's built around 25 years ago before the commonwealth games. The MRT is the latest introduce.

Many chinese immigrants also cant speak english. And they attitudes are terrible, always rude. At least indonesians are polite. And, local malay restaurants have the best coffee and teh tariks.

You are in lala port Bukit Bintang.. This place previously was Malaysia most famous prison called pudu jail.. A lot of criminals were hung here.. And a lot of locals would not come here because it is famous to be haunted because it's past history of executing a lot of people and also they say a lot of people were beheaded here too during the Japanese occupation in world War 2..
I think it is unfair to compare New York and Malaysia. The subway in New York has been around for almost 100 years, whereas in Malaysia, it has only been around for about 20 years! .Do you think Subway in Malaysia will be like New York in next 50 years?

Here in Malaysia... Islam is the main religion while other religion is freely practiced. Islam teaching is about discipline, politeness, respect, cleanliness... The do's n don'ts. Islam is the way of life that infuse into working discipline. Follow the good rules n leave the bad deeds. In fact all religions teach about the good deeds. Somehow there are some hiccups that wrongdoings done by some lawless people who sway from the right path. Nature. However, we tried our best to keep up n maintain the set up standard. We respect people that accept n respect our law n culture. Harmony life is what we embrace. Stay safe n enjoy your stay.

Wow I can't believe i stumbled into your video. It's just uploaded 3 days ago. Thank you for all the compliments. I wouldn't have noticed how clean our subway was until you compared it with NYC. But we still have a long way to go compared to Japan. But we are improving.
So happy to see your honesty on how our food tasted. Yeah we do have flavorful foods because of the assimilation of races living in Malaysia.
The boil banana you ate is called "cekodok " .
She got it wrong it's not boiled banana but fried dough made of ripe bananas mixed with wheat flour.
I think she wanna say banana ball 😂
Yeah I also thought she meant ball rather than boiled. Tbh she might not even know the meaning of boil, but I don't mean to look down on her, I'm just saying. She looked like a very nice lady and I'm sure if the conversation is in a language she's more proficient in, she would show how nice and helpful a person she is.
Anyway, _chekodok_ is also deep fried like _pisang goreng_ (fried banana or banana fritter) and good ones would have pleasant ratio of mashed bananas to flour instead of having too much flour
Glad u love my country bro.... 😊😊😊😊

The train that you took from BBCC to majlis jamek is call LRT, andI think in Malaysia KL like almost 25yrs or more maybe ...impressive still maintaining super good condition and clean although I had over 18yrs didn't take any LRT after graduate. Malaysia we need car for convenience as our public transport still plenty of space to be improve. I love our new train call MRT, I have try few times from my house to TRX and Bukit Bintang. You will be more impress our new train MRT, definitely more better coz it's the latest compare to LRT.
By the way, welcome to Malaysia. enjoy your trip to the MAX and remember safety 1st no matter where or which country you go to. Actually every countries has their pro and con. No countries is perfect. Like Thailand I'm super like it especially their foodie, shopping, cafe hopping and their interior design, architecture and creativity. Their shopping mall design more advance than Malaysia like the ICON next to the river, amazing... But Thailand language is their disadvantage part, we dunno Thai and they can't speak English well for majority so very difficult to communicate sometime 😂 also another disadvantage is safety issue, a bit more dangerous than Malaysia although Malaysia also has criminal but still more safe than Thailand. 😂 But I love to go Thailand shopping and cafe hopping, I love Thailand culture and beautiful ppl.
My brother in Christ, she was saying "Ball"-ed banana... or basically deep fried banana balls not boiled banana.
Really? I also thought boiled banana which I never heard about boiled banana before.
