    The ‘all eq at 0’ is such a cool idea to create tones from the ground up.
    In the Neural plugs, i’ve been trying that in the Graphic eq section.
    Great work buddah

      Thanks so much! Yeah I find it to be the best representation of what the amp sounds like at base level and then work in small amounts. If everything starts at noon, we’re likely to keep boosting until we reach a desired tone, but a lot of times we don’t even need to hit 5

    I own a few neural dsp amps, and while I'm far from an expert in tone making, I love petrucci for low tuned stuff. It's inherently a little less gainy and I can get the notes to stand out really well. There's just so many amp sims that sound awesome. Not enough cash.

    • @BrendonKPadjasek
      @BrendonKPadjasek  8 місяців тому

      Yeah there are so many. I’m lucky to have been sent some for free but yeah you can make things sound great regardless of what you use.
      I just prefer Wills every time I A/ B different amps.
      Raising the volume on any amp will let you lower the gain and have that clarity.

    • @benstanfill363
      @benstanfill363 8 місяців тому +1

      @@BrendonKPadjasek quick question on that, I have gain master and level on the amp. Do I turn down gain and raise level or master? Or does it matter?

    • @BrendonKPadjasek
      @BrendonKPadjasek  8 місяців тому

      @benstanfill363 it’s hard to tell without looking at the amp. Basically the I raise the volume of the knob that’s nearest or grouped with the eq.
      Usually there’s one volume there and then a master volume somewhere else in the plug in. They’ll give you slightly different sounds

    I could never get the STL demo I tried to sound as good as my neural stuff to my ears. To me the plini archetype is still the king of plugins, so versatile (loathe’s newest full length was actually tracked with it lol, even the rhythm tones)
    I definitely gotta try STL again at some point

    • @BrendonKPadjasek
      @BrendonKPadjasek  8 місяців тому

      Oh that’s awesome to hear! I’ve been meaning to try the Gojira and Plini one but I haven’t got around to them yet. The others are pretty damn cool though, I guess it depends what guitar and sound you’re going for. I find I can get guitars to sound unlike anything you’d hear through a real amp using neural, which is sick. But when I want authentic amp tones I prefer stl for some reason. That may change though haha
