I’ve been really into EDEN lately, so I really appreciate your channel! I’ve played drums for a couple of years, but I want to get into guitar. EDEN style of guitar is my favorite, do you have any recommendations for a starting point?
Thanks for watching Ricky! Starting point as in what songs/techniques to learn? In terms of technique, because eden does a lot of the slower more mellow finger picking I'd start to practice with that. Look at basic chords and chord charts, but put the pick down for a second and try plucking individual strings. After that check out the song Crash, this uses that technique and combines those simple chords with bar chords, and introduces a few other techniques. Happy learning!
how come you teach us in a way but you’re cover is a completely different version of how to play it ? I wish you could make us another tutorial just the way eden plays it … 🥺 But thank you so much, i always watch your tutorials and they’re really good, this video is also really good and will definitely help beginners 😁
The tutorials are always the way Eden plays it (key, timing, etc), the covers can sound different because the original key doesn’t always fit my voice the best. Also I like to take a little bit of creative liberty on the covers, as most people do - copying it 1 to 1 would be pretty boring.
