    The original never made it's way here, but the big box just arrived in Brazil. Made a blind preorder, my city is small, so it is hard to play before buying. Thanks for the review. I am pretty sure I'll like this one a lot.

    As always, it was a great pleasure for me to listen to your game of the month discussion. You cover all the important aspects in detail and share your impressions. It's a valuable source of information for people considering a purchase. I noticed that we have very similar tastes in games, so I was delighted to hear, that Trickerion became your favorite game of the month. I was actually very close to buying it directly from Mindclash Games, but then I found out, that there will be a Polish edition, so I decided to wait. It's good to know, that the game will be released in Poland around Q3/Q4, and exclusively in the Collector's Edition, which makes me happy, because I planned to get everything anyway. I haven't played Trickerion myself, but I've watched many gameplay videos and reviews. Besides, Mindclash is my favorite publisher, and if Anachrony is in my list of all-time favorite games (I have the Infinity Box), I'm sure Trickerion will be the same.
    For now, my game of the month is... Maracaibo 😄 I finally tackled my "shelf of shame" (or rather "shelf of possibilities" 😉) - Maracaibo has been sitting there for almost 2 years! And now I'm diving into the campaign 😎
    Greetings from a slightly cloudy Wroclaw today!
    Radek (team yellow 😉)

      Hello Radek! Good to hear from you! We are glad you liked our video, Trickerion was indeed a very good experience! We hope you are able to acquire your copy soon. The collector's edition is lush.
      Did you know that Maracaibo is one of Elena's favourite games? Maybe top-3 situation! How did you find it? We both like it better than GWT.

      @@boardgamecourt I didn't know that Maracaibo is one of Elena's favorite games!
      I can't compare it to GWT because GWT is still on my shelf of shame... 😉 Although my daughter is strongly encouraging me to play it. Now it will be me convincing her to play Maracaibo 😄 In any case, I'm absolutely enchanted by it! My wife is slowly getting into it (we've played it three times already), and I'm having a great time playing it solo as well. I'm currently in the middle of the campaign and I'm amazed at how wonderfully Pfister designed this game. I also recently bought the expansion - The Uprising, which adds a lot of replayability and different module combinations. The upgraded dual-layer player boards are also a plus (although I'm still using the ones from the base game for now). I have mixed results with the automa - at higher difficulty levels, it's really tough to beat, especially when I want to push the story forward and the automa makes quick rounds on the board. But whether I win or lose, playing this game brings me a lot of fun!

      @LordVader07 it is indeed a very fun game and a great design. We are also midway through the campaign (we are taking our time with it!). For us, so far, the best Alexander Pfister. We don't own the expansion (we really do like the base game as is, so we are a bit hesitant about getting Uprising).

    Hello from Toronto, Canada. Trickerion has been on our to-try list for a long long time; this was a nice goading to get a move on it though we've been discouraged by all the talk of it's inordinately long advanced planning that causes much AP to set in. More importantly, where'd you get those t-shirts!?

      @boardgamecourt  Рік тому

      We would say that the game requires an equal amount of tactical and strategic/long-term planning. Strategic is mostly towards which tricks you want to prepare and acquire material; tactical is when/where you wish to perform the tricks to benefit from the actions of others too. Don't be afraid, give it a go!
      We got the t-shirts during our holidays in Crete! They look cool, don't they?

      @@boardgamecourt Ah. Nicely explained: strategy vs tactics, okay. Our sealed copy of the game will likely not remained sealed for long! So Crete, eh! Well my wife is from Greece and she has some familiarity . . . If the t-shirt sellers were simply local merchants then we'll give them privacy but if they're also online retailers, do share! Thanks again for the encouraging vid. Cheers.

    Sounds like a nice game. I was reluctant because I heard that it’s more enjoyable with more than 2 players. Would you agree?

      Our friend, Rhys, that has played many times at 2p says that the strategy indeed changes from 2p to 3p but it is very enjoyable with 2p too.
