Thank you for this great presentation. I will enhance my zoom teaching a lot for sure. One thing is causing me problems, though. When I am creating incognito accounts I only manage to do it with one participant, as my new one cancels out the previous one. Say, I "invented" Janie and she's been admitted in, then I want to invite Jack and when I admit him, Janie disappears. I hope I explained that clearly enough. Thank you for your help!

Hi Dave, just a note that Zoom may have cut off the ability to open up access via incognito due to recent security breaches. Practicing with a friend is still a good option or, if you have access to more than one email address, then you can invite yourself through an iPad + desktop + smartphone, etc.

It should not. I would suggest a second monitor if you are able. Incredibly helpful. If I'm not mistaken they've taken that into account for presenters to not show that.

Interesting video. I do have a question... how do I ensure that I am looking at people while trying to demonstrate how to do things? I can normally do this in the physical classroom, but I still haven't found a monitor with the camera in the middle :). Thus it looks like I am always looking down and not at the students.

What happens if a student gets kicked out due to internet issues, can he still rejoin? And if a student gets an error saying "Unable to Join. the Host has removed you from the meeting." How does that happen. Is that accidental, or is that because a teacher has to actively remove you?

The lighting that he teaches stinks....it's called cross lighting. Go with a soft light that's at a slight angle with a white reflector on the shadow side. It's simple. You can get some white foamcore from Staples for the reflector. It's cheap, light and easy to store. The main light should be as soft as possible and a little warm in color. You'll notice that his lighting is cold. If you really want to do it right and can spend some money. Buy a chimera soft box for the main light. Get that at a photo supply house like Adorama or 47 st photo, etc. Then think about your background. You might have a warmish light behind you pointing up at the background if you have the space. The light should fall off the higher you go in the frame.
