10 years later, they're still hard to find! I just bought one, haven't shot it yet. I wanted a mosquito, but with all the bad reviews I started looking for a conversion kit. I ended up "scoring" one on ebay for under 400 bucks brand new in the box in an auction. That's about what it would have cost to buy a mosquito, transfer fees, tax, shipping, etc. The slide appears well made, hopefully it runs just as good!
Are you EVER going to produce tha P226 caliber x-change kit to convert to 22LR again? Oh, and thanks a lot for stopping manufacture with no fucking warning.

Bought the P220 conversion kit the day I got my P220. Fun and practice without the price of 45ACP.
That 229 conversion kit also works on the P228, as well. I use it on mine. 😎
Whats happened to Steve, haven't saw any new videos. This is my go to Sig channel
Do you have an idea if this kit could be use on a P228 (9mm)?
Will the slide go on any BB gun?
Why is the top screw missing from the grip of the 229?
Hello Steve. I installed the 22lr slide on my P229 and I have a small gap on the bottom of the frame to slide , is this normal. ?
Hopefully you figured it out, but there is a p229r and p229 conversion kit. You probably have the wrong one for your frame.
There's also a .22 conversion kit for the P220.
Got you covered on the mag conversions: www.taylor-tactical-supply.com/sig-220-mag-kit-p/220-mag-kit.htm
