The act of getting the perfect card for your deck is the whole idea of the Numbers from Zexal, for the record! This is especially notable in the manga, from what I hear. There's a guy there with a whole bunch of blank Numbers that we waits to pull them out and fix their effects until he either needs something unique or, I think, pass them off to people he needs to do stuff.
I think his name was Yagumo
I'm so glad you guys are enjoying 5Ds so much. It's my favorite Yugioh series by far so when you guys got to it I was so excited.
The latin spanish dub only reached episode 52 so we didn't got a full a full duel as last episodes since it was left in the middlenof Crow vs Greiger/Bomber.
I guess this arc is better to be watched with subtitles but is a shame that this was the first latin spanish dub to not dub even half of the show

Huh, I expected at least one "hawk tuah" joke this episode after hearing the whale immortal's name.
fun fact about Dark Flattop, it doesn't even work the way the card text describes because of phrasing and ruling.
the Flying Fortress SKYFIRE summoned from the GY must have been summoned properly first before it can be revived from the GY ignoring its Nomi monster condition.
god i hate Nomi monsters, I am so glad Rush cut that entire idea.

I turned up the volume to make sure, so I just want to make a minor note. Shibuya said Majestic Star’s Japanese name was Saber Star.
I know that’s what the VAs make it sound like, but it’s Savior, which they pronounce like “Saver”.
One minor downside of official subs using the localized names, I guess. Not that it matters in the slightest.
The other hosts had made a reference back to the savior joke from a previous podcast episode, after all.
One small disappointment with this installment. Saving clarification for a later date.
