I test drove the T5 yesterday and all I can say is WOW, the ride is comfortable yet sporty, the acceleration and shifting are smooth and seamless, being that it costs about 6 grand less than a BMW thats optioned the same, I say its one of the best bargains out there, an unsung hero if you will
The key has a button to turn on the accent LED lights, incredibly cool for showing off your car plus its really stylish and has an incredibly ergonomic interior.
It's very interesting to notice how little Volvo's models changed over the few years when it comes to appearance. Despite of all the new technology applied to the new cars, you can see a front dock very similar to the early 2000 models. I find it fascinating!
Looks like the one that I bought yesterday but the steering wheel is on the right hand side. This video was a really big help for me to buy the new S60. I used to have an old V40, like the one you reviewed on your channel. Thanks Kyle.
I love how Volvo puts the driver information system in the middle of the gauges rather than between them like most cars....could you please review the 2012 S80?
My mother had an XC90 (2007) new off the lot with everything. The vehicle was acceptably nice and fairly comfortable. There were things that simply shouldn't go wrong with a vehicle though. Like, for one example the air conditioning unit smelt musty and mouldy. It was always stored in a temperature controlled garage too! We brought it back to the dealership for repairs 6 times aswell, every time the problem wasn't resolved. Left a bad taste for Volvo.
i have a2005 s60 2.5t its really good on gas and it takesoff which i love i love that you cant feel the turbo but you can feel whenit takes place really reliable
Beautiful and awesome intelligent car with tons of dependability and power..just like a Volvo. Now make a video of you parking it in my driveway please.
At 00:47 my face lost all emotions... Just after 47 seconds i understood, that it's time for me to buy a new car. Would appreciate your opinion. Realy hard choice for me is choosing between Audi Allroad and Volvo XC70. Thank you for great reviews as always. :)
Well yeah, I see your point. He shouldn't of said 'I hate Volvo's' anyway, but me, being a proud owner and supporter of Volvo, plus another bunch of people, want to stand up for Volvo due to their discrimination over the years.
Very nice vid, though it is missing something. You can definitely tell how you've grown in the past year+. It doesn't have the discriptive content your newest videos. It's all good, though.
@ DoorisJ Oh wow that is amazing. How technology is changing everyday. That is a cool feature to have for a car. Sometimes I forget whether or not if I have locked my car doors, and having that is a convenient feature. I see a new Volvo S60 in my future, not just because of that feature, but because it is an awesome car! It has great styling, good price and last but not least...SAFETY!!!
The "i" tells you information about the vehicle from the last time you were near the car with the remote near. So you could be anywhere in the world and check to see if you locked your car (it will illuminate a green light near the lock). Also when approaching the car you may press the "i" to see if your alarm was triggered which will illuminate a red light around the panic key and if the alarm was triggered less then five mins ago it will flash two red lights rapidly...
My 1st Volvo ('93 940 136K mi) that I still drive with great joy, has been flawless. My current and 2nd Saab ('99 9-5, 1st was an '87 9000 turbo) is also a terrific car to own/drive. Volvo, previously owned by Ford has been sold to a Chinese company whiched concerned me. My Volvo service advisor has told me that the arrangement is the same as with Ford, mainly financial backing from the new owners and that Volvo still operates independently making all of the design and engineering decisions>>>>
I have a volvo 2002 s60 and I love it. I personally like my model better than the newer models because I've found that they have totally gotten away from the classic look Volvos are known for. I saw a Volvo the other day that was 2 doors. I could not believe it was something Sedan would make. I wasn't impressed.
@fordryan0930 You're telling that to a Swede, who even worked at the Volvo factory. I was saying that Volvo's owned by a Chinese company. The HQ is still in Göteborg, Sweden and the cars are produced here (S80, V70, XC70, XC90 and V60) and in Gent, Belgium (C30, S40, V50 and S60). I hope it remains so.
We used to have a Mercedes Benz SUV, but in 2006 we bought a Volvo SUV (XC90). The Mercedes was horrible, and broke down in the middle of Tennessee. Last year, we got in 2 near-wrecks with our volvo. the first happened when a man was in the wrong lane when we turned into our driveway. his car was totaled, and ours was FINE. the next time a car slammed into the car behind us making it hit us. we were FINE. the other car was totaled. Volvo has GREAT safety! (and reliability)
Why is ppl complaining about bland exteriors and bland interiors on volvo's? They're great! Simple works, you don't need the style, if u want a simple, nice luxury car.
@rob16875 What are you talking about? The idea isn't to just throw on the biggest turbo you can, the idea is to use the turbo to find a balance between efficiency and power.
i've got an 04 s60 2.5t. amazing car! way more options on it than another car from that year! drives like a champ
I test drove the T5 yesterday and all I can say is WOW, the ride is comfortable yet sporty, the acceleration and shifting are smooth and seamless, being that it costs about 6 grand less than a BMW thats optioned the same, I say its one of the best bargains out there, an unsung hero if you will
I just bought one today... watched this video afterwards and didn't regret a thing. Thanks for posting dude.
i love volvos. theyre an underappreciated brand compared to its overrated competition *cough* mercedes *cough* bmw.
I have always wanted to see a video on a new Volvo, Thank you and as always great job!
Volvo the best!!
gorgeous car! I'd love to see some tours of the current s60's :)

Beautiful car!!
Undoubtedly the best looking car they ever made...
I absolutely love your new car reviews dude. Excellent work.
The key has a button to turn on the accent LED lights, incredibly cool for showing off your car plus its really stylish and has an incredibly ergonomic interior.

Thanks!
looks like a nice car to take out for a nice, leisurely sunday blunt cruise
I have always liked the looks of the Volvo S60.
What a beautiful car. How can you not like a volvo.
Enjoy it. I'm enjoying my XC60, but I hope that you have a better time with your S60 than I did...
I love how Volvo puts the driver information system in the middle of the gauges rather than between them like most cars....could you please review the 2012 S80?
FINALLY Volvo has an audible locking sound!
My mother had an XC90 (2007) new off the lot with everything. The vehicle was acceptably nice and fairly comfortable. There were things that simply shouldn't go wrong with a vehicle though. out of all those cars that claim to be simplistic, this volvo is one of the few that actually has the right to say so
i think volvo are very good these days, this is a volvo that i would actully like to buy
That car in orange with those wheels. Killer combination. :D
White cars are gorgeous. They show the body off so well!

A lot better than the older S60. I like this car.

I love the part with the folding mirrors.

Beautiful and awesome intelligent car with tons of dependability and power..just like a Volvo. Now make a video of you parking it in my driveway please.
I Just Noticed the Steering Wheel in this Volvo looks the same as the one in the Saab 9-5 Aero....it's quite a nice design....looks nice and thick.
Very nice car!
Could you do a video about V60 Polestar?
At 00:47 my face lost all emotions...
Just after 47 seconds i understood, that it's time for me to buy a new car.
Would appreciate your opinion. Realy hard choice for me is choosing between Audi Allroad and Volvo XC70.
Thank you for great reviews as always. :)

Kyle lacked enthusiasm for this video review but the car is awesome.
psychothefear you know why? It’s because he’s a Saab fan, this is his competition
Never mind, I figured out myself, it's from the Chevy Equinox commercial, name of the song is Animal perform by Neon Trees, nice song!

I'm in love!!!
I remember when Volvo of Charlotte was on South Boulevard. That was a LOOOONG time ago, I tell you what.
Love it!

Looks very nice but how reliable are these
I've tried the S60 T6 AWD and the S60 T5 FWD. Even though the T5 was less powerful, I almost liked the T5 better.
you should demo the city safety feature if that one is equipped with it
This car rocks!!!

I love it!
Would be great to have 2008/2009 Toyota 4runner v6 in-depth review

very good car !!!!
@dnunez84 actually volvo had this layout since 1998 with the S80, then the S60 in 2001.
